The floor needs MAJOR rust repair... let's just build one from scratch 😆

The floor is completely rotted from all the rust so there's no point in trying to repair it. Instead, we're going to fabricate the entire floor from scratch which, believe it or not, is a fairly easy thing to do. The first step will be to fabricate a skeleton out of square stock ⛓ BONUS video: • Floor fabrication on 1...

For the comments about the steep drive shaft angle 📐 y’all might want to look under a Jeep. Particularly a lifted Jeep as long as the face of the flywheel or crank pulley is parallel to the face of the yoke on the differential it will work. If they were really concerned they could add a double Cardan joint. But I don’t think that is necessary given the length.

@@southernhellstorm6634 Before you have a heart attack, the floor is just TACKED to the frame. That way it fits the frame exactly. He will build body mounts to bolt the floor structure to the frame. After that he will go back and cut the tack welds, then install the new floor structure into the body. After 40 years in your supposed "shop" you should be able to figure that out! By cutting the center of your trans cross member you can low the tail shaft of the transmission so that you have a straight line from tail shaft to pinion angle. Then you can lower your trans tunnel and best of all, not have vibration due to incorrect alignment from transmission to differential.

Chad goes for the unpredictable approach as a method to increase the sale of his product. That is the best way to look at it because why else would you have the engine and trans located where it is and with only guess work as to the relationship between body and chassis?? As for comments, well he asks for comments and there is a comments section. Why are positive comments such as "you actually brought about the twist in the chassis by working on it without securing it properly" interpreted as hate? Here is why: pride arising from ignorance or defiance. That isn't a mark of greatness. And greatness is bestowed by others not self. Let another man praise you and not your own lips is true from every conceivable angle. Now why would you love to hate that?

I remember hearing that you don’t want the driveline perfectly straight at the back of the transmission because the needles in the U joints need to roll just a bit to keep from hammering flat spots on the four-way cross. I don’t think it’s rocket science but I do think this one’s a little steep. The good thing is, it’s easy to change while the body still off, if that fits into the plan

@MYBALLSYC actually in Canada you don't get a bill from the hospital, step dad had back surgery 30 years ago no bill ,needs it again ,still no bill ,that's why we pay over 50% tax on all our money 35% income tax 13% on everything you buy in Ontario ,plus gas tax ,property tax, and the good old carbon tax ,with all those added up you only get to keep 30% of your money

The metal builds that look like wood blades are the best things I've use ,on my 10" sliding woos miter saw works great so far 30 cuts in on 2x3x3/16 tubing still sharp as hell ,unbelievable, worth every penny 70 bucks on sale at princess auto
