I'm just here to make sure everyone take a moment and show some respect for the ninja-level production quality exhibited at 14:41 with that chase shot. Amazing series overall!

I’m going to do the FAT in October with my 6” lifted 1948 Jeep Willy overland truck.

We think October would be beautiful weather to do it!

Loving your videos! Watching videos of the FAT, I do have a question, do you go through the crossing, set up the camera, and reverse the crossing to get it on video?

Are you on 35’s with stock cv axles? How often do you snap cv’s with your typical driving style as seen on the video? I just bought a 2012 taco with front and rear lockers and a set of 33’s and a set of 35’s but idk if ill run the 35’s if im gonna chew the CVs like their toothpicks

Y’all ever worry about the People Warnings in Ocala National Forest? I’ve heard some horror stories and have been strongly warned not to venture in. Just curious on y’all’s thoughts.
@MrPitbull1172 жыл бұрын
Please explain. I camp in Ocala 5 or 6 times a year. I’ve never run into anyone except other adventurers. That said, my friends and I are always heavily armed with dog alarms, so I hope no one messes with us (for their sakes). 😉

We have herd of only a small amount of these horror stories, however never directly from the ones who encountered it. On most occasions, we can spend an entire day out in Ocala and only pass by a few other people. We think it’s important to be aware of surroundings and not present opportunity, have a plan and keep after your own safety. We’ve spent years trekking around Florida in the forests and have never had a bad experience ourselves that we didn’t create ourselves. don’t let it stop you from exploring ✌️😃

I’m starting to think 8.5” of ground clearance is not nearly enough to take on the F. A. T.
@SunshineStateVikings2 жыл бұрын
We apologize if this trail seems a bit crazier than we think it really it is, we began our F.A.T. trip probably at the most saturated time we could for the seasons of Florida. Also we want to assure you that realistically the only crazy trail area we ran into was the first day in Osceola National Forest. The wet section seen in this video was a marked hard trail that can be taken as an option if wanted and the main route stayed on a totally normal section of trail, the two then meet back up at the other end of the hard trail. As for all the other areas like the mud hole area there is enough space in that section to were if you wanted to avoid the mud holes you can navigate around them. If the right time year is chosen to take on the F.A.T. (February - April) before the rainy season, we feel you could accomplish it in a stock truck.

@@SunshineStateVikings oh cool. Thanks. I’m really excited to get the kids out of the noisy city and into the woods. I’m not trying to pretend I have a set up jeep etc. just want to get them into some trails and do some camping. I really would love for them to see Hopkins Prairie. Thanks again, your videos are great!
