The Florida East Coast Railway in St. Augustine, FL

In December 2021, I spent a few days in the historic town of St. Augustine, the oldest continuously occupied settlement of European and African-American origin in the United States. The Florida East Coast Railway has run through the city since their Narrow Guage era in 1858. Luck would come to us as the night before, FEC 210 (Not 205, that is my mistake) would strike a Tesla that stalled on the tracks in downtown west palm beach, and needed a new leader. (No one was hurt in the accident) Snoot Nose SD40-2 #716 would come to the rescue, and pass us in perfect golden-hour sunrise light. Featuring several other trains in the golden hour light, this video highlights the most well-known spot in downtown St. Augustine, about a 7-minute walk from downtown itself.
