Superb, love the microlight shadow crossing the ground from 1.24! Didn't really notice any jerky movements caused by interference. Beautiful old train, on a lovely day.

It was bussing around my drone for about 2 minutes whilst I was trying to gain control of my drone. Cell towers as they call them in he USA do indeed interfere with drones using Lightbridge technology. The Mavic 2 pro didn't have any problems when used it to scout he area. Indeed it was scary stuff as at first I thought I had lost complete control until that is when I managed to fly the drone further down the track and everything started working properly. You are very lucky Kim, I have been waiting 3 years to catch it go over a viaduct near me, mainly the weather has been awful when it has gone past but once when I did bother to go so did a hundred other people and was a bit too awkward to take off. ( only a small take off point nearby) Great video as usual...... and I am jealous 😀

The last time I tried to film here was when the Duchess of Sutherland travelled up the tracks and it was windy as hell with heavy showers. I only did ground work that day. The Flying Scotsman only comes past here once a year so I was determined to catch her from the air, despite having massive interference. Bloody mobile masts. I never expected there to be one in the middle of nowhere. There were 100's of people further up the track near the viaduct, hence the reason I chose further down the track. Quality content as always Kim , I had issues with my P4P ( no response to controls and random obstacle notifications in clear space at 50m ) my footage was totally unusable ! It was however a beautiful day to be out at this location watching a railway icon looking fabulous so I'm not too upset all things considered.

Hi Steve, Oh no, you had problems as well. So sorry you couldn't capture the loco. Was there a cell tower near you perhaps? Yes, I can relate to phone tower problems - had the same issue several times. Wow...great shots....whats the shadow of the bird early in video...was it an eagle?

@@leecurtis9359 Hi Lee, If you look fora place called Seaton, Northamptonshire it's about half a mile from this small village. If you Google earth Harrington Viaduct you can see it clearly. If you want we can always meet up on the next loco day and I can show you the spot. It is a very good view too due to the straight piece of track and location.

Hi Graham, great to hear from you. I decided to avoid the viaduct this time round and chose further up the track on the other side of the first tunnel. I could see the viaduct from where we were positioned. It's a super place to fly from but be wary of the mobile phone mast hidden behind the trees! Take the Seaton Road into Seaton and then follow the Glaston Road until you come down into a dip. Park on the corner, and walk about 500 yards to the 7 arches bridge.👍
