I had history with this game bro, The games used to be made on a game creating website named Scratch. Then one time I forgot the link or smth idk, and i never played it again, i did have an image of the game with the link but, I dont have my PC rn. It didn’t pop up when i searched, but it was an awesome experience.

6:02 Afaik, roguelikes do not have upgrades that carry over after death. What you're talking about are roguelites, which do. In-depth description of the two below. Otherwise, I'm pretty sure they're identical, being known for a short, repeatable gameplay experience with permadeath, high variability and randomness between playthroughs, and a variety of upgrades that usually result in rapid powerscaling and their own variety of emergent playstyles. And yes, the name comes from a game called Rogue, which is presumably the first roguelike.
