I realized something when Mat was talking about how Remnant survives basically anything at around 1:04:10. In the book, The Fourth Closet, wasn't Afton described to be using the MOLTEN endoskeletons of the original animatronics to bring life to the Funtime Animatronics? If that's the case then the metal would have been incredibly hot, aluminum has a melting point of 1,200 degrees fahrenheit and that's on the LOWER end of metal melting points (other metals like cast iron, nickel, and platinum melt at over 2000 degrees fahrenheit) and the Funtimes are likely made of a FAR more durable metal like steel (which has a melting point of around 2500 degrees fahrenheit), while the average temperature of a building fire is around 1100 degrees fahrenheit. This means that the remnant within the endoskeletons was able to withstand a temperature of MUCH higher than an average fire without burning away. This should, in THEORY, mean that remnant cannot be destroyed via heat and by proxy, fire. This was hinted at ALL the way back around the time of FNaF 6.

I just found out that the Princess Quest character’s name in the files is Cassidy… that and the fact that there’s an “It’s Me” easter egg in Help Wanted makes me think that the Golden Freddy spirits might have been scanned by Fazbear Entertainment as well. The details are still a bit murky, but I would love for them to actually close the Golden Freddy storyline somehow, with Crying Child (Evan?) and Cassidy trying to stop Afton and maybe going against the Amalgam with the rest of the spirits (and the One Afton Should Not Have Killed) since them trying to torture William might be the thing that is keeping him alive in the first place.

I love the idea that what finally pushes in over the line is you find glam bonnies dead robot body and Gregory finds out he as special ears. So when you do the simon says instead of getting a new upgrade Freddy could get taken over right there in parts in service. He would scream Gregory what have you done. Then he would become glitchtrap who would say a creepy line and then start chasing you across the entire pizza plex.

I came to the "glitchtrap in aftons dead (real dead) body" conclusion myself. One thing I noticed was that his eyes were no longer human and that they were replaced with glowing purple robot ones. If digital/purple is Glitchtrap's MO then I'd think Glitchtrap is in control of Burntrap. That and Burntrap is able to interface with computers and animatronics entirely digitally/handsfree. As for the fire, the animatronics were trapped in a vent maze separated from the customers and main building so I can see only that section getting burned. Especially since I think the Pizzeria Sim "nights" are taking place while open. Also I just hope its the case because Pizzeria Sim and UCN are a great ending to Afton's soul (at the very least least, if the blob just *has* to persist) and I don't want Henry's speech to go to waste it was too good.

Markiplier ran into her near the post-it room during on play throgh and got a game over. Something interesting I noticed while rewatching GT's playthrough of Sister Location is that Ballora is supposed to encourage kids to get fit and enjoy pizza when hired for birthday parties. This immediately reminded my Glamrock Chica's Mazercise, the place to "work off the calories while you eat" in the Mega Pizzaplex. I'm not sure whether this connection is an intentional one, but I thought it was cool either way!

Another thing I thought is about how there are very few voice actors on this project, which felt odd considering that UCN had a tonne of voice actors. It could be a budgeting thing, but they specifically chose to include Kellen Goff, Michella Moss, and Heather Masters. They voiced FT Freddy, Ballora, and Baby respectively in previous games. Maybe the glamrocks and the funtimes are more closely linked than we thought.

About the cam in Freddy’s room: Vanessa wasn’t in her office looking at cams. We know this because we see her walking down the hall with a flashlight. She probably couldn’t have gotten from her office to that hallway in the time after Gregory leaves Freddy’s chest. She presumably checks cameras later. She tells Freddy that Gregory is sneaking around and to keep an eye out and she catches Gregory later to take him to lost and found. It doesn’t provide any new evidence but I don’t think it needs to be scratched off as “just a game mechanic.” The game explains well enough.

Really random point about the cameras in security breach: When you look through the cameras there seems to be a really obvious quality decrease. When I first saw that I thought that was pretty odd given the fact that the pizzaplex is very high quality. It just didn't make sense for the entire pizzaplex to be well made and seemingly quite expensive to build and maintain while having pretty poor security camera quality. Following Matpat's theory about Gregory being a robot the gears started turning. When you look through a camera or lens at a screen you often get a quality decrease, you see a lot of the pixels and those lines across the screen, you can also get colour shifts. If Gregory is a robot (which does have quite a bit of evidence for) it would make sense why the camera quality seems to be so poor. It's wouldn't be that the cameras themselves are poor quality, but instead we are getting some sort of distortion or quality decrease. That's just a point I wanted to mention.

I think the CCTV being poor quality is a game development thing - because it's not just looking at a pre-recorded video, it's actually looking at something happening real time within the game, and having the same video quality would make the game hard to run... if you think about how you can open the cameras on the watch at any time and flick through them, having high video quality for everything happening within the pizzaplex would make the game grind to a halt 😬

In regards to the tangent at the end…I feel like maybe Scott is kind of a one-hit wonder. Like, he captured lightning in a bottle once, and now he doesn't know how to do anything else. Keep in mind that, after a long string of failures at trying to be a game dev, FNaF was the thing that finally worked, it was his personal Final Fantasy, so I think he might be afraid to try something new and stray away from the only thing he ever did that succeeded. @@endiexe979 I think there's room for argument on the villain thing, especially considering how much we don't know about the missing children *and* while yes absolutely Vanessa herself seems like a decent person, her meat suit is now inhabited by her and Glitchtrap/his influence/whatever you want to call it, so it's cloudy and murky and that's why she's such a compelling and interesting character. TLDR at the very least, she's an antagonist because she is trying to keep Gregory, the protagonist, from achieving his goals. this part of my comment isn't super related to yours, but I think it would be super interesting to get DLC or something where we get to see what her night was like lol because even when we see her as Vanessa and she genuinely just seems concerned for Gregory, she's stressed. I wonder if Glitchtrap was ready to be released that night (presumably to do murder things, idk) and that's what had her so stressed out. TL;DR: Vanny was gonna operate differently and be a bigger threat, and I think it would’ve been better for the game (plus some of my own thoughts) The original (not really original? More just how she was *supposed* to come into play) plan was that there’d be a meter on the side of the screen once she was introduced and it would gradually go down over time unless you left the area, in which case it would fill up and start over again. When the meter ran out, Vanny would enter or spawn in the area and start to chase you. I don’t know if it was taken out or wasn’t properly implanted, but either way I think that would’ve been better to convey her as a threat and how you need to save her, especially if she said lines that indicated or hinted that she needed saving (ex. “I don’t *want* to do this”; “I’m here, boss”; etc etc). But with that in mind, I feel like the whole game is packed to the brim with villain characters. I think if we could save and befriend everyone (as opposed to breaking them and stealing their parts for Freddy), it would’ve been better gameplay and story-wise. Even more so cause then Gregory wouldn’t be doubted by the player. (This was a longer response than what I was planning to say but I had thoughts on it 😅)

Oh, about the security cameras... I think those are configured to "recognize children", since even the animatronics have the feature, so they would have alerted the security staff if a kid was in the store outside working hours. It makes sense, since there's a TON of cameras (the store is HUGE) but there's only one security guard on actual duty, with the rest being basically robots. So, for that to work, the system would have to be in charge of checking stuff and letting the guard know.

You pointed out that Burntrap was sending out his "corruption" through the screen but I want to point out that Afton never had any such ability. William Afton (Purple Guy, Springtrap, Scraptrap) has never shown any supernatural ability, the closest is him not staying dead (explained by remnant). Glitchtrap has shown the ability to either posses or corrupt a living being in Vanny. I find the idea that Afton can suddenly take control of an animatronic through technopathy less believable than a living virus doing the same. There is even a built in reason that it takes so long to corrupt Freddy, after the OP Freddy restarts in safe mode which held off the virus for hours.

A theory i really like that people have brought up, it isn't my own theory, but Cassidy could've been the one who made Henry's plan fail. Because she had so much hatred and kept Afton in purgatory for so long, he was able to escape from his suit and chips being scanned from his soul still being there; Afton would've moved on like Baby and Puppet if Cassidy just let it go. Thats why Cassidy doesn't go after Afton in Princess Quest, and instead frees Vanny and (possibly) uses the Blob to get the revenge they have wanted for so long against Afton, so she can right the wrongs she did from holding him and his victims for so long.

Recently, I got the theory in my head that Vanny/Glitchtrap is actually Elizabeth, not William as we first thought. - MatPat already went over a ton of parallels in his FNAF theory, so I won't rehash all of that. But it does make the Therapy tapes make more sense imo. If you read the tapes as Patient 46 being Vanny as a split personality, it makes sense the therapists would treat her more as a child since she was a child when she was killed. Plus the whole thing about "Bill" and Vanessa's confusion/trauma could likely be Elizabeth's memories getting mixed up with her own instead of a story Afton had her make up. - The whole Burntrap plot could then be Baby trying to resurrect her dad as opposed to William trying to download himself back into his body

I think Security Breach was supposed to be the end of Scott's era of the franchise. That's why they brought everything back one last time. But the project was over ambitious for the time limit they had, they didn't have time to fix the bugs, they had to rush through development and ended up cutting huge chunks of the game. I love the idea of Glitchtrap and am fine with William having a lasting presence in the story, but we really need a new primary antagonist. Imagine if in the true ending Gregory and Freddy encountered a completely brand new entity no one could've possibly predicted before the game's release. It would've been an excellent way to show we are entering a brand new story arc.
