In one ending, you can literally see Vanni ordering the bots to dismantle Freddy… why is it so hard to believe she used something similar to get rid of all the other people there? Maybe even the mangled doctors? She actually does control an army of bots and it is showed in one of the endings of the game…

Probably because it's harder to believe that Vanny has been able to manipulate so much for so long without anyone being able to catch her. Where it's easier to believe that she managed to manipulate the Staff Bots in the time that she's there because their programming is so rudimentary and stupid that they follow any command given to them.
@Wildcat12 Жыл бұрын
As a programmer, literally the ONLY reason the Princess Quest character would be called Cassidy is if it was intended to be found as a lore piece. A) The name is WAY too specific for its lore implications. They would’ve known to avoid to stay away from that name, or any of the others, especially because of their prevalence in the lore. If it wasn’t important they would’ve used an unrelated name to the series, like Denise or something. B) You very rarely give your characters names in the programming that match their actual names. Even in entries to famous series like Mario and Zelda, you’ll see games where the player character is just called “hero” “player” “player_char” etc. You don’t give them their actual character name in many cases, it’s just considered general bad practice unless you’re programming for some random side character who’s only used once. To me, it’s a clear and intentional hint at the lore

I was thinking that to, I’m not the most experienced in the field but I’m taking the class this year and names are usually more descriptive than names
@Bisonrulz16 Жыл бұрын
Nah it doesn't definitively prove that it was intended to be found as a piece of lore. It proves that at a point in early development it could have been intended to be found as a piece of lore. Much like you say it's bad practice to name things obscurely if you don't need to, it's also bad practice to go in and change variable names if things work, it's far more risky to go in and change them than to just leave them be, especially if people shouldn't really need to read the source code. If they then change their minds and say that the Princess Quest girl isn't Cassidy after all, the variable name would in all likelihood not be changed for risk of breaking the functionality because you fail to get all instances of the name Cassidy, it just takes too long.
@gabionsquared7858 Жыл бұрын
Games like mario and zelda like you say could get away with calling the players whatever because there was barely a dozen different entities, but I'd bet my left foot that they're called "zelda" and "Mario" in the recent game's source code because of how meticulously planned these things have to be nowadays. She can be called a specific name, but you have have to respect that in games with troubled developments (which this game clearly had from it's delays and buggy release), she could have been planned to be cassidy at some point but that game as whole got repurposed, and she now represents someone else. What immediately comes to mind is Mogh in Elden Ring is just called "Greater Demon", but Morgot is called "Morgot". At some point, the idea of a greater demon enemy was scrapped and he was promoted to be a full boss alongside Morgot, and the story of the game was rewritten.

Vanessa does in fact have a giant army of staff bots. Recall the disassemble Freddy/Vanny ending. In the cutscene that plays she presses a button and says a command that seemingly prompts those (in your dreams) staff bots to rip Glamrock Freddy apart. Later, Gregory uses the same mechanism to "disassemble" Vanny. Not a stretch at all to assume Vanessa can command all of the staff bots to do her bidding. @GTLive Left this comment on Johns original video: I think GNNA stands for "Group Needs N/A" or "Group Needs No Accessories", in other words, the room does not need decorations, balloons, etc, and is just a reserved room. As you can tell with the other ones, just as the Bday one, on the boards dedicated to each one of those parties it says what the balloons should spell out, i.e. "Happy 40th!" on the Bday40 one. This is why on the GNNA two boards it doesn't have any balloons listed on what it should spell out, it instead says "N/A"

The message around 37:50 does specifically say "your last order got automatically sent to me". Yes that could mean email alerts, but it could also mean the physical items are sent to him. This is plausible. If she was ordering them for herself but getting them sent to the office and using the office computers to do it, they couldn't cancel the orders since she paid for them, but they could certainly send them to the guy first when they arrive. That way the company can check it first. A little weird, but plausible.

A few notes as I'm watching: 1) I could see Luis having intercepted Vanessa's deliveries out of concern for the things she was ordering. He does feel like the slightly awkward nerd with a big crush, and taking her mail fits with his somewhat inappropriate behaviours towards her. 2) if Luis is the one trying to solve the princess quest arcade machines mystery, it also tracks, he seems overly obsessed with the "princess", in this case Vanessa, paying attention to him. "then the Princess will recognize me. She's testing me. I am not yet worthy." that really does sound like the kind of guy he is, and he mentions Vanessa not noticing him in emails. 3) admittedly, I always thought the daycare attendant room was... well, the daycare attendant's room LOL. and that the big secret would be working out *who* the daycare attendant actually is. 4) Vanessa/Vanny *does* have control of "an army of bots", we see this in the ending when she commands them to attack.

Regarding "GNNA", it's possible that's an internal code for "General/Not Available". It'd be a weirdly realistic answer, at least. Businesses and orgs that have to file a lot of individual data (e.g. subjects, events, cases) like to make IDs with consistent character limits. It makes it easy to organize into a spreadsheet, particularly if you need a lot of people scanning for specific information. It's usually a good idea to have an "oh no, we forgot to get this info" code so you can still generate an ID while awaiting details. "General/Not Available" is exactly the kind of vague code I'd expect for an unspecified event category. What's the event? Who knows! Which room? To be decided! Now it's a shared headache for every employee working that day. Welcome to the true horror of Security Breach: being employed in the service industry.

With this knowledge, she manages to receive admin computer access to "fix" the glitched code, and she falsifies internal emails in order to get hired as the Pizzaplex's head of security. I do agree that it wouldn't make a lot of sense for anyone from IT to have the power to redirect packages sent to the office, though it could be that Illumix (and/or Steel Wool) wanted to simplify that part of the story by implying that all red flags, whether searches or orders, pass through IT.

Im not even going to lie it was really hard to watch this video because they we’re either making fun of him for what he was saying or just not waiting to listen to what he had to say next which led them to pause right after he explained why he said the thing in the first place. (Like it genuinely took me all 4 days since it was released to watch this video cause I was starting to get a little annoyed after the first 15 minutes). So I agree with you, because his video was really well thought out and planned out, while MatPat’s stuff has just been realllly difficult for all of us to believe and even he’s not 100% sold on his own theories. This includes his most recent one where he told us where we can just throw out all the lore we learned in fnaf 1-4 which is just a little… I don’t know… I guess de-naming all of the work that theorists (including himself) put into the original 4 games. Don’t get me wrong though I still love MatPat, but his recent fnaf theories at this point are just becoming a stretch and he’s not really fully taking in other theories that might have possible upsides that we may not have seen before (like not giving it a chance, even if it can bring something new to light).

It lines really well with why Vanny was surprised of the new therapist and why 46 wasn't confused. This explains why Vanny needed a therapist because she had another person controlling at times, instead of the reason being she ordered and searched weird things. This theory, or hypothesis is also backed by John's evidence brought in the video.

I have a few FNAF questions myself. In Pizzaria Simulator, when Henry explicitly says that the job posting was not intended for you (Michael) but a way out was intended for the desired individual, who was supposed to get the job to trap the animatronics and burn them inside? Was it another associate of Henry's that wanted to help him? If so, why and how did Michael get the job if Henry already has someone else in mind for it? Who funded the creation of the Pizzaplex? They HAD to have known about the already existing building on the site, or at least the basement of it. Why was it deliberately left intact? Why build that huge facility directly on top of it without demolishing it completely? Who in corporate was pushing for Vanessa to be hired? Why would they push for Vanessa to be hired unless they knew she was being influenced by Afton? If that's the case, that means that Afton has other allies with finances enough to build the Pizzaplex. What if the Pizzaplex was intended to be a hidden shrine to Afton and his atrocities? Would this mean there's literally an Afton cult that is keeping very secret with their intentions?

Just a thought I'm gonna throw out there... what if Vanny is actual the evil charlie/patient 46? I mean the fact that we saw two Vanessas in one of the endings suggests that at-least one of them is a robot, and given the warping effect on the screen when Vanny comes close it pretty strongly points to her having a distortion disk on her. As well as Vanessa having actually caught Gregory and then she just leaves him in that room but goes off to supposedly change into the Vanny costume?... Why?... I know it's kinda shooting in the dark a bit, but I just feel like nothing ever resolved that two Vanessas issue and this at-least brings that together...

Game recommendation: Security Booth by Kyle Horwood. You play as a security guard working in a security booth outside of a company lab called Nova Nexus. Throughout the night you must decide who you will and won’t let in. However, there is something that I can only describe as extra-terrestrial or ethereal going on. There are 7 endings (and hidden notes) and no one has pieced together what the backstory is or what is going on in the company. I thought it might be a fun game to play on GTLive! Edit: I forgot to mention that you also collect videotapes when you get an ending, which could be crucial when it comes to filling in the lore.

This has nothing to do with this theory as a whole but I do feel like bringing up something about the "patient 46 is Gregory" line of thought. Here's why. 1.Gregory has no record He doesn't exist in the eyes of the law and he's not a registered person. Him seeing a therapist and following Vanessa doesn't make sense from the point of view. A therapist would likely know and have the police called on Gregory because he has no record. That's not something that can be easily overlooked. 2.Gregory purposefully avoids Vanessa all the time in game. Yes he stutters when Introducing himself and he is probably not a person but he is well aware that Vanessa is after him so it doesn't make sense that he'd follow her to therapy. That's my reasoning and it's just something that I had to bring up.
@tonyf49912 жыл бұрын
It's the female character from RUIN. Gregory is not a hacker. Gregory doesn't know robotics. Gregory knows some things but not enough. Gregory being a robot makes sense. Gregory lying about parents, doesn't. Gregory likes to hide and not be out in the open. Patient 46 doesn't mind being out in the open to the point where the whole company knows her. Gregory is not manipulative, patient 46 is. I even Patient 46 is the reason Freddy glitched in the beginning. That's not Gregory's silhouette, it's hers. The robotics in one of the hideouts? She is interested in them and works with them.

IT would monitor incoming and outgoing traffic. Presumably there's an automatic filter that sends suspicious messages xoming through the company server to Luis for review to filter out spam, fishing, and that could reasonably include dangerous things like torture devices or criminal activity. Then after a certain point it seems like he's pretty much stalking her and he has the ability to spy on all her emails using his IT access, especially if he's compiling detailed logs. I think the red flag messages are just what brought Vanessa to his attention and after he figured out something weird was going on he started reading everything.

24:50 Right here, when Mat mentions that Golden Freddy never really existed outside of hallucinations, when you think about it, it would add up, because if we are playing as Michael in the first games then the reason for Golden Freddy to appear is the guilt from fnaf 4, when we see the cutscene of the bite, but otherwise he doesn't exist (this is only quick little theory that came to mind, if it can be disproved, go on ahead)

...I just had a thought. If Fazbear Entertainment is now leaning into "The spooky remnant metal is all a part of an elaborate rebranding" angle, then technically we can have those funky variants of the animatronics and disregard them at the same time. Since the characters are canonically a part of the Fazbear Entertainment Intellectual Property, they're allowed to do a bunch of weird things with those characters. And you can still have the game be considered canon since we have the substory of the animatronics going haywire because of the Glitchtrap Virus because all of those funky variants are just reskins of the original code of those older animatronics and therefore it can spread to those animatronics and make them try and murder someone.

Lastly, does Vanessa remember being vanny? If not that would explain the self-report and other lack of knowledge as the events may have taken place when she’s vanny, like the police call. Vanny chases Luis who calls the police only to be caught by vanny, she then changes back to Vanessa before the cops show up

But while controlled, vanny took it, didn't show up on camera or copied and replaced the footage. It WOULD explain why she would be reporting herself. It would also explain why the crime was so perfect. glitchtrap watching behind vanessas eyes knew how to do it to not get caught on security cams.

As I continue this video my theory seems to be more and more correct. The fact that vanessa is surprised that her therapist changed doesn't mean she didn't send the anamatronics...it means she didn't KNOW she was doing it, Glitchtrap or while mind controlled she does it, then wake up and doesn't remember what happened. It means vanessa can do all these evil things, and still not know why bad things are happening. Why stories dont line up....why her mood changes. Or maybe even....why she gets referred to as patient 46...and not vanessa...It would explain why the hack was going around even tho she didn't spread it because she doesn't know how to. Glitchtrap DOES know how to. He takes control, and does it. Vanessa having no idea
