I feel like the ghost hunters one would have been pretty cool since it would have played more into the sophistication aspect of the story but then again it probably wouldn’t have been as close to the original story for the game then the final movie

I think it would've been the Cassidy script if they weren't expecting people who are new to the franchise to watch the movie. The Cassidy script probably would only be enjoyable for all the theorists and fans, but the script the decided to use could be enjoyable for fans and newcomers. I think the only thing they did badly for people that are new is have details that expected you to already know some things about the FNaF story.

A Cassidy/Golden Freddy stand alone movie can work, like it can show us the perspective of Golden Freddy witnessing important game events in order, giving us a clear look at the timeline. (Although I definitely enjoyed the real FNAF movie, peak cinema.)

Fun fact : We DIDNT get the mike screenplay. I’m pretty sure the movie went back into scripting and then we got what the fnaf movie is . At least that’s what I remember seeing I could be totally wrong lol

We did get the Mike screenplay (since the first movie was about Mike Schmidt), it was just that Scott Cawthon didn’t clarified back in late 2020 if it was gonna be Michael Afton or if it was just gonna be Mike Schmidt without the existence of Michael Afton in the film’s continuity.

Honestly the ghost one and the f screen play wouldve most likely been better than what we had gotten i mean its got a reason for the characrers to be there it has potiential for spooks n cool deaths to also staying in one room checking the hallways and closing doors wouldnt be that good for a horror movie so idk why you said the ghost story was bad i mean it wouldve been better than we had gotten

SPOILER WARNING FOR THE MOVIE!!!! Honestly I really liked the movie and I thought it was a pretty solid story in most parts obviously a few loose ends here and there but I really wanted a bit more especially diving more into the whole Vanessa being Williams daughter thing and maybe more into mikes family especially on the fact on why mikes aunt is suing for custody of Abby in the first place as we don’t really know much or anything about them both. I also wanted a bit more of the animatronics in action and being a bit more aggressive towards Mike before he brings Abby along with him and I didn’t really like how Mike just sleeps on the job most of the time and gets dreams to communicate with the kids. On the topic of the kids I definitely wanted to see more of William luring the kids in and possibly killing them and I know we saw William kinda doing that during the opening 8 bit scene but I wanted to have a bit more gore possibly a scene of William stuffing the kids in the suits? And I actually think I speak for all of us whenever I say I wanted more from the Springlock scene the Springlock endo looks super deadly in the movie considering the fact Vanessa pokes it with a broom and it snaps shut like a bear trap but then on William it just kinda slowly sinks in like trying to put a spoon through ice cream and the I always come back part felt a bit forced and I don’t think that it’s that bad because the man is being impaled to death with metal bars, screws and whatever else is in the Springlock suits so it feels like I should be forced but I would’ve liked it to be a bit more clear and have some spacing in between the words instead of him kind of mumbling it all at once because at first I didn’t even know what William said until my friend got really excited and said he just said he always comes back and one last thing is that I really liked that the animatronics where acting like actual children y’know cuz they are! Loads of people got mad about that but I really liked it because it shows that while they do kill people they’re still normal kids trapped in the bodies of the animatronics but overall it was a really fun movie and ngl balloon boy definitely got the most scares out of me but that’s that I can’t wait for the sequel and hopefully it doesn’t take as long as the first movie this time 😅 (I didn’t realise how long this was lol I just ended up ranting about the movie 😭)
