Heres my theory: scott wrote up a ton of scripts, tossed all of em out, other folks in the studio saw his pile of tossed scripts, picked out a few, then made them into other films that today are theorized to be edited versions of thrown out fnaf scripts (banana splits, willy's wonderland)
@Joeylikesgames-ku9mx5 ай бұрын
I think the banana splits movie was actully confirmed to have been a rejected fnaf script
@skandto5 ай бұрын
hey, I'm in the Willy's Wonderland fandom and usually say this to a lot of people but the Willy's Wonderland script was written originally in 2011/2012 (few years before fnaf) but the banana splits was confirmed to be a fnaf movie script but that doesn't mean it's a bad movie or anything
@skandto5 ай бұрын
also, not to he rude, but that's not how movie production works at all. Scott had lots of help and supervisors on the scripts and many of the ideas and scripts were originally done by Warner Bros themselves without Scott. all those scripts go into storage until the company at hand wishes to do something with them. they did in fact use one of them to make the banana splits movie because they had access to the scripts

I hope when they make the sequel, they bring back the Plushies Take Manhattan idea. Even just as like a short before the film, the idea is funny
@galaxeonart93385 ай бұрын
From what I got from the script summaries it sounds like a lot of them weren’t horror movies. I mean, plushies take Manhattan, a boy and his animatronic, not concepts that scream horror. While the ghost hunters script gives me grave encounters vibes: FNAF edition. Basically I think many of the screenplays were too focused on either being for kids or for being a horror film and didn’t want to compromise.

This makes me wonder what happened to the Fnaf Movie Animatronics after Blumhouse and Jim Henson's Creature Shop were finished filming. Do they keep it for future material or reference as Jim Hensons does with a lot of their other creations? Did they donate it to a film museum to make room? Or does Mr. Cawthon get to keep it as a sort of trophy or memento to his success?

Ngl the fnaf movie could have been better but I do enjoy it I watched it 3 times and read the movie novel, one of the time I made my entire family to watching it on new years and my stepdad was really invested it and it wasn’t scary so my younger siblings could watch it with us so I’ll take it as a win haha. From a lore and horror standpoint it could have been way better tho and I hope the next movie will take the criticism and work from it to make something better.

@sergiorubens84755 ай бұрын
No because the characters are very similar from their game selves. Mike is still a guilt ridden broken man lamenting the loss of his brother. Vanessa is still a victim of manipulation and abuse who becomes an accomplice for murder. And so on.

As an almost 10 year long Fnaf fan who was hyped when i first saw the movie but disappointed about how it turned out later, i really wonder, was this the best they could do? I love Fnaf because of how dark and terrifying the story is (or rather *was* before security breach and such) and the movie is not scary at all. In a marketing point of view i get it but as a fan of the pre-2021 lore, this movie is really disappointing

Being fair here, I'm glad Scott delayed the movie to have a good script on his hands. All those early scripts were terrible! Even so, I'm very halpy with the final movie taking all the good elements from the other scripts into one. Scott said he was taking notes frpm the critics, so let's see how Fnaf 2 ends Also, eho da fucks get confused with the story in the movies? Even my mom understands it

Yes, i don't get how people consider it one of the "better" video game movies out there, in fact, i actually think it's one of the WORST. Well, okay, maybe not the absolute worst, but certainly mediocre, cringey and forgettable. And that really sucks, because the idea of a Fnaf movie had so much potential and they just wasted it. Sure, they said they'll be taking criticism and using it to improve on the sequel, but still, they REALLY should've tried to do more on their first go in the first place.
