Lomito alemán isn’t something I ever encountered while living in Paraguay. But on most streets there will be a vendor selling Lomito Árabe, which is similar to shawarma.

Just went there and ate sooo much asado and vori vori. Café de acá is amazing! Definitely recommend. The terere is sooo refreshing the actual pronunciation is (Teh day day)

Great Video Richard, very interesting food alternatives, I would never thought of grapefruit and coffee, however in Mexico it used to be popular to serve espresso coffee with a slice of orange peel and that combination is indeed very tasty. Hope you are having a good time in Bolivia

Mbeju is eaten with mate cocido for breakfast or in winter. Same for sopa paraguaya, that’s why it’s dry. Without mate cocido it’s meh.
