This interview was phenomenal. Foolio is incredibly mature, especially telling fans that they can be fans of everyone and telling them they should be. It was good to hear him mentioning Depression seriously and that he's been through a lot. I hope he stays successful and that Jacksonville gets less deadly.

This comment is crazy? So, you are going to size a dude up on a public interview. Lets see what he's up to when there arent any cameras around. Then you REALLY know a dude. So many comments saying - this guy is so humble etc etc. Thats coz that video he posted 'when I see you' is gonna get him either killed or locked up. Lets see how this guy rolls in private. Foolio was once an innocent kid with hopes and dreams. You can still see that glimmer in him sometimes. I have a hard time finding the positive in people who have murdered because my dad, the only family member I had left after the rest of my family died, was murdered. But I know this young man was raised in a situation where he felt this was the only route to take. I still have hope for him, he seems like a decent dude. I just hope one day they can put the guns away and Foolio can focus on music. Unfortunately, so many bodies have dropped now and each of the gangs have been spitting on those people's graves that idk if it will ever end. He needs to stop saying some of the shit he says in his music though. I have no doubt cases are being built on all these guys. Look what happened to Bobby

This is actually so sad, these kids that so many people look at as “thugs” and a menace to society, at one point were just normal kids that had hopes and dreams like all of us, but ended up not having a choice to chase those dreams, instead were forced to adapt to their surroundings and the live the only life style that they knew, sad part is I don’t know how we could ever change it

Education and better institutions and policies. People have to start thinking about what's better for everyone, not just themselves. No kid should have to worry about getting shot at school or coming off the bus. It's's insane to have to deal with at that age. But props to Foolio for flipping it and getting out.

I have been into rap and hip-hop since '89. Never understood the new age rappers and the whole drill movement as I'm pretty old school but recently been learning about the culture and the rappers involved. What an absolute mental way to live and its fascinating as we have nothing like this in my country. However I had formed an opinion that Foolio here was uneducated, dumb and just plain lucky. Thankfully I am eating my own words and Foolio has a new fan and straight up I like and enjoy listening to this guy talk he grabs your attention.

He said Wayne and Eminem for some inspiration that was surprising. Motivational sad story this is the story of too many young kids and American nowadays yet we spend trillions and sent our own to war in different countries when our own kids are at war in their own neighborhoods. This is why I feel like I have a love hate relationship with rap. Hope he makes it though
