@@ArtSomething you’re very welcome. I appreciate you for taking the effort to share your craft. You know how most artist are about showing how they do things. They keep it a secret better than the magic community lol.

Great vid Dave! I also use Anchored which is my favorite. Nothing is more important than a stencil that stays on well. I recently made Nikko Hurtados original homemade stencil solution and right now it’s my go to because it works as well as Anchored and it’s quick and cheap to make.

do you mind sharing Nikko hurtado's original homemade stencil solution ? or where can i see it?
@bwildtattoo Жыл бұрын
@@iqbalakbar7354 Stencil solution: 61g speedstick (full bar) 2 caps of alcohol 31g distilled water 30g soap glycerin Just melt the speedstick in a microwave or double boil it. Then add the ingredients all together, stir and let it cool. Done! I got this from his color portrait seminar. You can find the seminar on YT.

I’m just starting to get into tattooing and I love your videos! Great stuff and very helpful. I have a question, do I need to be good at drawing to be a tattoo artist?
@ArfurTatt2 Жыл бұрын
Yes. You are drawing on people. How do you expect to draw on people, if you can not draw?

Thank you for providing all of your supplies and links. One thing I was hoping to find and didn't seem to see is what kind of marker are we using? Everyone seems to skip over that part😅 I want to know what's a safe marker to use for free handing pieces of touch-ups that can be tattooed over.

@ArtSomething Жыл бұрын
Thank you Jason much appreciated brother. Yeah the tape helps line things up for sure. But cleaning the skin before you shave it is prolly the most important part in my opinion. Thanks again Jason !!🤘🙏🤘🤘🙏🤘

Just watched a video from three years ago where you talk about the stencil machine as something crappy you borrowed temporarily till you upgrade to a fancy printer. Did that just never happen? I'm so confused.
@ArtSomething Жыл бұрын
That’s what I thought but after trying so many different machines I have found that original machine is the best for me and most reliable

Nice!! Can I ask what stencil paper your using ?
@Immortelleink Жыл бұрын
Stencils are the bane of my existence. I use Spirit paper, clean everything thouroughly with alcohol upfront, do two layers of stencil stuff, let the stencil dry for at least 20 minutes, sometimes even up to an hour when it's on myself, and it still rubs off in no time. And that even though I just pat off excess ink in the beginning instead of wiping it, to not overwork it too fast. I'm completely at the end of my wits -_-
