@@SK-vc4nh yeah theres so many similarities with Arsenals owners, Doncaster had players sitting doing nothing on 300 grand a week wages and spent 70 mil on 1 player. Arsenal have bad owners who just like The Glaziers take more out of the club than they put in, but we have a club, it's not like Bury who dont even exist because not only did there owners bleed them dry all the so called PL clubs sat back and did nothing to help. If every PL club put 1 million together no club would ever have that worry, you could save clubs like Bury and remove the people who destroyed them. Dinamo is one of the biggest clubs in Eastern Europe,it has 18 league titles and 13 domestic cup titles...It reached the Champions League Semi Final in 1984 after beating the holders of the trophy Hamburg...In the Semi Final they played against the great Liverpool side of the 80's...After the 89 revolution the club lost one of their greatest generation after their players where bought off by western clubs,similar to what happened to the clubs in East Germany that you already talked about...Corruption and neglect brought this giant of romanian football to it s knees...At the moment Dinamo is preety much the ONLY true historical side in Romania's top division...This team stood afloat thanks only to it's fans...In the summer some new spanish chiarman came and bought the club,brought players on huge contracts and left without paying them...The players just broke the contracts and the club accumulated even more debt...If the fans did not step in and accumulated 2 milion euros the club would have been dissolved...For anyone watching outside of Eastern Europe it might be hard to understand it s value...If u re English imagine Liverpool being dissolved...This club is OUR Liverpool,and it's stadium OUR cathedral...With all the fears of relegation,players leaving and managers coming in and leaving the club still managed to fight it's way to a Romanian cup Semi Final...Please,make one video about our story too...

Not as notorious as the ‘Fine Cotton’ horse racing ring in here in Australia in the mid 80’s, when a slow horse,’Fine Cotton’,was supposed to be switched with a much faster horse, ‘Dashing Solitaire’,which looked identical,but was injured at the time of the ring in.So another horse was found,’Bold Personality’,but this horse,unlike Fine Cotton,did not have white hooves, so the ring leaders painted the hooves of Bold Personality just before the fixed race.The odds on the supposed ‘Fine Cotton’ was heavily bet from 33/1 into 7/4 favourite. Bold Personality,posing as Fine Cotton,won the race,but then the stewards notices that white paint was dripping from the horse’s hooves,and that’s where the ring in unraveled.

AHH Belle Vue, was ball boy a few times there as a kid, also one of my most embarrassing moments as well, I switched off during the game as it got a little boring, not a lot of action going on, teams kept losing the ball (couldn't remember who rovers were playing) anyway I was sat behind goal not paying attention next minute I know I've got Andy Warrington screaming at me for the ball, I go to pass it to him only to miss the ball completely 🤦

Speaking of stadium disasters, you should do a video about the Valley Parade fire.

Talking of northern teams starting with D have you ever considered a video on all the going ons that resulted in Darlington moving into that 25,000 seat stadium when their record attendance was 8k prior to it opening and they never managed to even half fill it

Sounds like this guy had his sights set too low. Should have owned one of the "big six" Premier League clubs. Seems like a perfect candidate.

Alfie can you do a video on Brighton, showcasing from when Archer took over as owner, nearly going out of existence and then the rise to the premier league?
@alanjones46222 жыл бұрын
Of course there was Rushden and Diamonds who disappeared completely and the ground does not exist anymore either.

Yeah that was a really strange one. They became pretty successful, had established themselves as a Football League club over a few seasons and had a very nice, new and shiny ground. I remember that it was due to Max Griggs running out of money?? The reason for their demise??
