Martijn Dingenouts cant believe how they keep nerfing cent when other hero’s (Hitokiri, Vortiger, Jormungandr, Beserker) are far from balanced. Hitokiri can just light spam and win, Vortiger can just bash spam and not get punished, jormungandr is just a better cent because he can light spam AND drain stamina way faster. Oh and beserker? He can light spam with hyper-armor and have annoying feints that are considered at some point spam... This game needs BALANCE. But its still super fun even with the cancer spam.

Frosty vortiger isn’t that op, hitokiri could do with a nerf but isn’t the absolute hardest to counter. Jormungander is easier to counter than people think because his move set is predictable and berserker is probably the most annoying out of those yet is still kinda easy to counter.

"Hating a game you play so much." Its really one of a kind which is mostly why. A lot of things Ubisoft does and the team behind FH does is mind boggling. Like how you can look at move sets in between rounds of 1v1. Or how you can get kicked from a long ass queue because "can't join game, already full." (if it requeued you it wouldn't be a problem but it doesn't). A love hate relationship is why this game is my favorite and why I will never recommend it to my friends. I love the gameplay, I hate the game design, and I hate how unattractive the game is to new players since a lot of it relies on knowing move sets for every character.

I have friends who have never touched a Souls title, we all play mostly shooters like R6S or (modern era) Battlefield, one of them now plays For Honor religiously. I would NEVER have expected him to actually start liking the game, especially not when his first experience with the game was 1v1ing an avid Souls player, and when it comes to playing anything remotely resembling a fighting game with friends I. DO. NOT. PLAY. NICE. Now he whoops my ass, and gets all "toxic" on me. It's great fun, especially when we take it to 2v2s.

The For Honor community is honestly great, there’s such a low pop that I can join a 1v1 with someone and confidently text them in game, “gg, I’ll catch you later” because I know within the same month, week, and/or day I’ll more than likely be matched up with them, there are multiple For Honor players that I don’t have added as a friend but still recognize there name and become friends without adding them as a friend

Me and for honor have a very odd relationship. I fucking loved it at first, but when the second dlc cane out I took a looong break. I started playing it again around when aramusha came out, and then took another break right Before marching fire. Ive recently gotten back into it and I hope I can keep playing it for a long time and grind it out without getting super pissed at it

I'd like to disagree on the 60 FPS piece, I played on PS4 before and heroes like orochi are just horrible to go against, switched to PC and it's night and day, I can actually block his 400 ms lights!!! Now I know it's not all just the frame rate but it certainly helps a lot

Its like playing any other game in 30 or 60fps, in theory theres no diffrence, but in practice it feels much better. Somewhat the same as with the animations,the smoother the attack animation is,the easier it is to block,even if they are all the same speed. Especialy noticeable on characters that got "sped up"

You can now block these light not because of the fps, but because you no longer have an awful input lag On console the input lag is something like 150ms

Shiny__ maybe, but since I'm using the same PS4 controller, I'm not totally sure about that. Other factors come into play like playing on a TV and its input lag etc but I found myself seeing the game is somehow slower and easier to react to everything. 60 fps isn't everything but it helps

Honestly I joined the For Honor community three months ago and ran into maybe one person that was a raging prick... and even then I just was like " ... I'm sorry. I'm just new to the game and trying my best. " ( I ledged him in a 1v1 when we were 2 / 2 and won the match. ) He was fairly understanding and let up, then the next week I ran into the same person who had been matched with me in siege now, but with a friend that I soon befriended and he later taught me how to properly feint. Now I'm actually able to properly feint and shake up people AWFULLY as a templar / conqueror. It's awesome. I think I agree with the PC view. If it was a turtling contest... it'd be so long, drawn out and boring. Knight battles in reality are quick, brutal, visceral and decisive. A mortal blow only takes about thirty seconds to maybe a minute if that to be struck in a duel, usually. So... that's my take. People just maybe need to buckle down and treat it like it's Dark Souls PvP. Yes, it's hard... but you can learn the nuances of it and soon become a god amongst men.

This is a video I've been waiting to see in the community... been playing since the beta and it is by far one of the best communities I've ever been a part of... sure you get the toxic players who send rage mail or play in a toxic manner (I've been there, I'm not above anyone in that regard) but as the game has grown I love how the community has developed and honestly I love having discussions with people on the sub-reddits about anything pretty much... love the video man, keep it up!
