What a mistake it was not to accept the original ideas the creator of the saga (or anybody else) had for this franchise and instead depend on recycled material dumbed down for a dumbass young generation who doesn't give a rat's ass about the meaning of SW or anything else for that matter. It was the worst 2 hours and 17 minutes I ever spent in a movie theater, Muffin! I don't go to the movies like I did and I pretty much quit after this mess. I saw just one at the theater last year, "Midway"! I liked it. Then again when I was oh so young, I got to meet Adm. Husband Kimmel when he was in retirement. I was around 7 at the time, I am old Jeb. and I will only eat muffin tops!

No matter what, these movies are still better than the damn prequels. Though I do have one argument in regards "The Force Awakens is just a rehash of A New Hope" thing: The prophecy of balance being brought to the Force has not been fulfilled. First Anakin failed, then Luke failed, so Rey was next in line. The Force itself keeps making the same events happen over and over again to try and make the prophecy come true. If Rey fails (I haven't seen The Rise Of Skywalker but I imagine she'll eventually fail too so they can keep the franchise going) then we're going to see yet another young Jedi rise up and the same events happen yet again. Though next time I hope they pick an ice, jungle, or water planet instead of a desert one for variety's sake.
