I don't know if it's intentional or not, but the stuttering and glitching sounds like distant gunshots. I like it.

@@spacecorpse3212 I recall mentions in the lore of gunhead units malfunctioning/going rogue due to prolonged deployment without maintenance. These things seem twitchy and murderous as hell lol, but I guess that makes sense considering they were literally designed to commit human rights violations against noncompliant civilian populations as a riot control droid.

Personally, I like to think its totally loyal to the scav's not just because of reprogramming but because of some sort've respect for them clinging on - the lines 'perhaps today is the day' and 'One day they wont need us' sorta implies it has sentience enough to hope to see the end of the conflict (and by extension itself). I also feel like it's glitchy dialog and stuttering is because it has to struggle to generate human speech. Imagine trying to talk to someone who can only understand a single letter every 5 mins and you have to spread out a whole sentence over what feels like an hour.

4:12 Fun fact: "7N6" is the designation type for the standard Russian 5.45x39mm round, which is 'mildly' armor piercing (the bullet has a steel core).

Listening to this, there’s evidence to suggest that Gunhead is helping the Scavs by choice. Then that the Scavs keep him powered down until they decide to deploy him.

That tracks, one issue with humanoid Bots IRL is Constant strain from moving and standing for long periods And assuming he was not built to be constantly on without supply chains it could be for longevity and taking advantage of a safe area

I like how some are speculating sentience, I'm over here hoping it's actually just Gunhead recording other scavenger's voice lines and reciting them at the exact moment they normally would, "Shit ton of enemies over there" doesn't strike me as something a robot would say... but it does sound like something ominous an A.I. "trying" to sound more human would say.

In a world suffering from a AI driven war, this "guy" is probably the most interesting Character. Is he really glitching out or is the A.I. becoming Sentient? Or both, would not Suprise me. Plus "it has a gun for a head" What more do you really need to know? Apparently these things where Law Enforcement Units before everything went to hell.
