Amped series was for snow boarding, TH games was for the skaters, Matt Hoffmans pro bmx series was for the bikers, MX vs ATV for the motox guys.. but surfing and jetski racing got the short end of the stick.. Tony Hawk got so many instalments because they were such good games.. I thoroughly enjoyed Matt Hoffmans pro bmx as well, I loved that it was the Tony hawk pro skater style done with bmx! I was disappointed they didn’t continue with them and expand the game and do something like thug1-2 or American wasteland.. speaking of that AW having the BMX was such an awesome addition to the game, a whole new set of tricks and lines to do. But surfing really seemed to fizzle out.. I swear the TH games couldn’t have come at a more perfect time with the skateboarding craze and the new video game systems.. so happy I got to enjoy those as a kid

I love Transworld Surf!! You'll probably never see this @Blakdragon42, and if you do you might not know or might not reply... but do you (or anyone else here) know if there is a Level Select cheat for original Xbox version? Online it says there is, but I've never been able to get it to work. I've never been able to get to unlock the final levels, but I would love to be able to play them. (Other cheats seems to work, like Disco Lights, etc... but I've never been able to get Level Select to work). Anyway... fantastic game. I haven't played it in years, but feel like giving it a spin this evening.

Fun fact; Surfing H3O's controls are Like That™ because it was sold alongside an actual mini surfboard that you were expected to strap horizontally to both controller sticks, so moving it up or down ""felt"" like turning the back of the board to steer. Even with the gimmick controller it still feels weird, but it intuitively makes much more sense than without it.

5:00 into the video, why is it Timesplitters Character noises can suit anything? That "ouhhh" has a beachy sound, I love it. 10/10 Honestly man, loving the videos you are making, makes me want to try some new ps1 and ps2 titles and inspired me to actually 100% complete Timesplitters 2 and unlock all the characters properly for the first time. STILL arcade league makes me want to shit in my hands than clap constantly.. < Sad that really hey hahahahahaha

I only played Kellly Slater and Transworld Surf. They were both pretty good but I liked Transworld Surf a lot more. I liked the more open levels and the multiple waves than being stuck on one wave.

They just need to make a surfing game with a REALLY in depth career mode. Different tours, different 'leagues,' etc. It could be pretty cool. I could even see a game like Rider's Republic adding a surfing mode. That'd be dope, but probably not likely. I'd like to see a good surfing game be made. Currently there's a few out there, but they aren't good. Barton Lynch Pro Surfing looks worse than the Kelly Slater game. Virtual surfing looks better, but is still pretty lackluster and bare bones.
