Looks like you got the forklift going. Good job. That should be a good one. Now we just have to find a parts source for the future.

Combines need booster fuel pumps. Depending where the tank is located

I see the comments and have to add i ran an allis chalmers that was very similar with an ac motor. It needed a manifold heater but we started it using ether. I was always baby shots on the ether but one of our maintenance jerks use to abuse it like he hated the company. It stood up to it unbelievably. You might try trupar in pennsylvania or tvh in springhill kansas for parts. Tvh is wholesale only i believe but trupar sent me parts through there on a clark from the 60s. Hope this helps.

Contact my son , he specializes in Cummins diesels, he can get parts or tell you what you need and where to get them. I believe there is a valve on top of pump that prevents backflow from return line., tends to hang up sometimes , a good cleaning and polishing should cure the issue.

Dave put a none return value on the fuel line, fuel must be leaking back from the pump

Incorrect!! IR purchased the rites to this unit from MinnPar in Minneapolis who in turn had acquired the product from Allis Chalmers. The AC version was 706E that had originally been powered by an AC 201ci engine designated as the 433T; upon MinnPar’s acquisition of the RTL line from AC they repowered the units with Cummins and the only difference between the IR and AC units was basically the paint and product graphics. Those were tremendous machines BITD

@@phillipcottrille3296 I don't doubt that you're right but I'm confused now because underneath the seat amongst all the other tags there's a tag there it says matter of factures and it says case gives me a serial number and a model number then a tag that says the IR and the serial number model lift capacity etc etc and I have got parts through forklift place and Wichita and he got them through the case warehouse again I'm not saying you're wrong I just makes me even more confused now about my silly forklift

@ I “possibly” can stand corrected but I know for a fact that IR purchased the designs and “rites” to market the AC RTL units under their trademark. I have NO idea where Case is involved unless they acquired the production “rites” from IR after a period of time. I sold many of the AC units during the GOOD TIMES of Allis Chalmers unfortunately, over the years, manufactures continue to “absorb” other manufactures just to fill a need. If I am incorrect then so be it but the fact that IR retained the 700 series badge tends to make me believe that my previous comments are valid. Question: is the mast a 15’ roller mast?

@@phillipcottrille3296 I have no doubt and what you say I'm wondering if that tag isn't on there because it was sold by a case dealer at one point possibly stranger things have happened but no I have no doubts of anything you say and I highly appreciate the information thank you

Whatever is going on i hope you figure it out. Did it always act this way?? I was wondering but assume the fuel and the tank is free of obstruction. Hope you can get it running good.

Are you sure thats not an Allis Chalmers designed forklift. It sure looks a lot like an Allis 706-C that I worked on a year ago... yes parts are impossible. Ingersol must have bought the design when Allis ag stuff got bought by Agco. Allis industrial is impossible parts wise.

@@curtisk84 okay spot Ingersoll and there's a tag on it that says Ingersoll and then case so I've always just assumed the case but it could be I mean I not 100% for sure

@@ernestdarnell7473 no actually it's actually quite a nuisance to go get diesel to fill the tank usually let the tank get down to a quarter before I feel it just because
