People ignore these things and then come in with dilemmas of how they have their boyfriend money to buy land and he put it in his name and now he has ghosted her or a man saying he has invested in the girlfriend and now she has left him. I hope we as people learn from these principles. And do better

Two rights can exist. What you've said is true but there are some things that may be significantly different from one relationship to another. For example polygamy. Just because you are in a successful monogamous set up does not mean there is no successful polygamous set up somewhere else. Both Monogamy or polygamy have a chance to either fail or succeed in my example depending on the kind of relationship you have.

Hi Makena. Thanks for watching and chiming in as well. Based on your thoughts, we can also beg the question, what does it mean for a marriage to be successful? I believe that once we have a clear definition of this success and what it looks like, then we can be able to ascertain if it's really true that both monogous and polygamous can be equally successful. Also, who is the authority as far as the definition of success is concerned? Because if we have 5 people and each of them has a different definition, it is very unlikely that they will agree on the same outcome of what success looks like.

@makena2783 did you grow up in a polygamous home and do all the parties involved in that home agree it was successful? And what is success for that matter?
@carolmutua52668 ай бұрын
I have grown up in a polygamous family and I can assure you, nobody wins in that situation. The polygamous man has to provide for multiple households while still being present in all homes which is impossible, and is therefore overstretched, there will always be small battles with the wives on favoritism and the children are definitely affected. There's no success there.

@@carolmutua5266 Thank for sharing this. This is actually the common experience for polygamous families. Some are worse.
