I climbed Masada! Watched the sun rise over the Dead Sea! Incredible. No lift then. This was 1998. Then climbed back down and floated in the Sea. Went to Jerusalem and Galilee. Backpacking. Just deciding on the day where to go and staying in hostels. Oh to be young again!!! Guys. When our Lord returns to His throne we will all be there to worship Him 🙏 🙌 thank you Jesus for saving me. Crypto Man Lol! You sound hostile! Am I supposed to somehow 'feel' the way you perceive me to be? Or simply Know that i am Known by my own Redeemer? You're argument lacks Substance, my friend. It lacks the Mustard Seed, and the Seed of Life, Light and Holy Spirit Grace. I shall pray for your lack of insight and aggressive tendencies.. sorry.. it's already done, so no use arguing against the Lovingkindness of LOVE & Light, I'm afraid. The power of death is in the fear of it. My fear died nearly 2000 years ago.. then He Rose to show me that the Power of Life is not bound by a temporal dying, neither is it held by the darkness of Tartarus or the corruption of the ravages of Time. But you do you, my friend and.. Bon chance! Blessings!

@@goforgold7082 Hi there, yes we did get to Israel - albeit 2 days late because of the British Airways Pilot strike. Was sad to miss 2 days of our itinerary but we had an amazing time. Was so wonderful to walk where Jesus walked and to see the places I have read so much about. Certainly brought the Bible alive and now when I read it I now have a new perspective and context. Would love to re-visit some day. Hope you get to go - maybe next year?
@goforgold70824 жыл бұрын
@@ireneroberts1730 I was in Israel in 2012. Stayed in a room with an amazing view over the church where they reckon Jesus was crucified although I think it may have happened outside the muslim gate where the garden tomb is. Unfortunately I did not know about this garden and wanted to see the place of the Skull. Was very disappointed to find a busy bus stop below it, it simply did not go together with the place where Jesus may have been crucified. I walked on my own the whole distance around the wall of the Old City and was a little scared on the Eastern side as I had to walk through all the tombs there and you could not see if someone was hiding there. Had an amazing experience at the church in the garden of Gethsemane where I had to walk through a group of singing tourists where all my hair stood up, I could literally feel His presence there. I was with a small group to visit the church where the "Our Father" prayer was displayed in all the languages of the world and mentioned to the one girl that I could not find my language which is not English. Unknown to me she went and told the group leader, so a few moments later the caretaker came to me, opened the church itself as this section was locked, and showed me the prayer in my language. It was really special as when I exit, the group asked me whether I found it and they all shouted and clapped hands. A guy told me to visit the underground route next to the Wailing Wall. I can really recommend it for your next visit if you have not seen it. You pay an entrance fee and the guide explains to you as you walk right next to the most amazing huge foundation walls. You past the section where behind the wall they say the Holy of Holies is. Dont know if it is true but someone explained to me that the city was demolished a few times and thereafter they would build on top of the rubble, so the Via Dolorosa is not really the route Jesus would have walked as it is now buried underneath the city, and with this tour I understood, as we walked on the pavers which would have been the city 2000 years ago. Jerusalem was simply awesome and I would love to return, unfortunately with the lockdown my business ( self catering guest house) has taken a severe blow and I think my country will become a very dangerous place very soon due to political instability as there are millions of hungry and angry masses. No way to get out because our currency fell through the roof. My apology for the lengthy message

Great video. Thanks. I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that before yesterday, I had never heard of Masada! I'm over 65 years old, and a Christian. My introduction to this awesome place was through a gun magazine article on the new "Masada" handgun produced by IWI (Israeli Weapons Industry); the gun being named in honor of the unbelievable Jewish people of this magnificent fortress who chose death over slavery. I have the most profound respect and admiration for Israel and the Israeli people. I don't know that I'll ever make it to Israel, but it is one of the very few travel destinations outside of the US that I would really like to visit. Thanks again for the video.
