It's hard to believe that only three years after he did this wonderful performance Rod Allen passed away. The Fortunes deserve to be inducted into The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame more than many who are already there.

THIS is the live performance of this tremendous song that I always come back to. Powerful on stage production, and Rod Allen's obvious enjoyment and superb vocals send shivers every single time I watch it. Best bridge you'll ever hear. Of the 35K views, I'm sure at least a hundred of them are mine Love this!

what a solid performance by these gents! and it's totally ive, unlike lots of groups which use pre recorded tracks today! clean beautiful harmonies with a punch, exceptionally done and remastered to perfection! thank goodness for youtube which allows us to reminisce and enjoy even when some of these fabulous singers have passed!

Thanks For sharing this Paul Hooper, I was born in 67 but wasn't till 1986 that sixties mania hit the scene on vinyl, Although well into late 70s 80s music, I fell in love with all things 60s, I started a band in 1987 who played nothing but the music of these legends, Blah blah, Thanks for this, What a wonderful time it must have been to experience these bands live

Good band but all the originals are dead! Not sure how they can con the public with the claim to the name and charge top dollar when essentially they are a mere tribute act!
@rmelin13231
@rmelin13231 3 ай бұрын
Not so, by a long shot. No tribute act could duplicate Rod Allen's talent and showmanship.
