A box as this is simple in concept, but in reality takes a lot of skill. I enjoy making boxes as these, some mitered, some dovetailed but in the end skill is required.

They were nail in metal decoration corners nothing too much as far as steps on that one!

@@clemoniii okay, I understand why you said it now but allow me this...I've been a carpenter / woodworker for several years and, as a woodworker, it is very common for one to say that making storage boxes is the foundation of woodworking. So I have to disagree that it was solely click bait.

@Sam Kokenos Yes, I've heard that as well, and it seems true for a lot of folks. My past was clearly missing one word: my It was a waste of "my" time. Frankly, I feel bad about being rude. It's been a bad day, and I reacted childishly. Sam, I must also say I've enjoyed this back and forth thread. If you had just called me an a$$hole, I would have agreed, and we would have missed this opportunity to parry. Enjoy this evening, enjoy this life, and maybe we'll cross paths someday.
