I mean, they had what was theirs taken away from them and no longer in their control. Not only that, i'm sure years later they realized they were cheated out of billions of dollars. They were the brains behind McDonald's and invented what we know today as fast food. Sure they were paid of what was at the time the equivalent of 20 million dollars. But that's chump change in comparison to what Ray Kroc got out of Mcdonald's. He may have franchised it, but there would still be no Mcdonald's without the Mcdonald brothers.
