Then, thirty years ago, while breaking through the frontiers of artificial intelligence, he had an experience that led him to question the fundamental aspects of consciousness, the nature of reality, and life beyond the ordinary material world.

This talk , among various naiveties, shows a terrible confusion between quantum mechanics and neuroscience. At least, Penrose did the same error, but “with style” , which is absent here. Please read The Unconscious Quantum by Stenger

This is a biography (not a talk) and refers more to quantum field theory than quantum mechanics. But perhaps you are more concerned about the notion that consciousness is non-local... not residing in neurons in our brain, but more in the "cloud" or a another source (ie Higher Self) in a quantum field?
