I like Federico Faggin's view! From time immemorial, the aphorism, KNOW THYSELF, has been stated by the sages, but the human species rarely understands what it means. FF's response to the question about the future of Consciousness, brings out the very aphorism into consideration. Humanity has to start with asking the question, "who am I" and individually get the answer. It is only then that the human species shall save itself!

Dear dr. Faggin, please read the book “The Unconscious Quantum - Metaphysics in Modern Physics and Cosmology” by V.J. Stenger (1995) and you will see that your claims are old ( and false).
