I understand this was song in the movie 'Buster' that starred Phil Collins (have not seen it, only some clips, but he actually seems quite good). Also for the movie he did his knockout arrangements of 'Always' by Irving Berlin and 'Groovy Kinda Love' originally by The Mindbenders in 1966. Who would have thought you could improve Irving Berlin? And who takes a teeny bopper tune from the '60s and turns it into a searing love song? The Four Tops! Really? One of the all time bests. He gets them to do "Loco in Acapulco"! The man definitely has soul. If you don't think Collins is a musical genius, you don't know what one is. Pick any one of his talents and that would be enough for a wonderful life, but all together.....beyond amazing. And to think what an impact he had with 'Genesis'. Brilliant! A life well lived.

@@robertdavies7540 Having now seen the movie, your point is well taken about the train robbery, but I think the critics are off base. In no way did the movie 'glorify' the robbery. It was presented in a matter of fact way. While they did not show the beating (there was conflict shown though) the robbery was not the biggest part of the movie. It was used to set up the love story that was really featured. This was no 'Bonnie and Clyde' or 'The Sting' movie. The whole issue seemed to be a big deal in the States, for some reason. That is why it did not do well at the box office. Walters was excellent and had chemistry with Collins, who I thought had surprising sex appeal. The dead pan, no irony delivery of the line by Phil 'But I do borrow from the Bank' was a highlight for me. Her response that she wanted him to get their permission was classic. In the end the robbers were jailed and the viewers knew it. No glory.

2 years ago I bought a 1986 BMW 635CSI from the US I wanted to restore and I remember as I was browsing and came across my car, I was listening to this song (one of my favorite disco-ey songs). Fast forward to this summer, I have fully restored and modded the car to be lower and more powerful and added a bit more power to the stereo, all hidden out of sight, looking OEM. The first driving song I picked was this. I wanted to cruise through my neighborhood with this blasting from my slick 80s mobile. As I fired up that '86 BMW in white, with style 32 wheels, black leather interior and Euro bumpers and I started playing the song, I had shivers down my spine and a tear in my eye. I had my dream 80s car and was listening to my favorite 80s music on a hot, sunny summer day. I felt like I was a hotshot in 1980s Miami in my white 635CSI. Absolutely magnificent moment! Spent the rest of the drive listening to 80s stuff and some Eurodance. It was amazing. Then it started raining and as I tried closing the windows, the driver's window regulator failed and I was soaking wet by the time I got home. But I still had a smile on my face! That's the power of great music!
