You're way to hard on yourself! If all my engineering mistakes would fit in that frame, I'd be a very happy man! 😂

Thanks George!

That's a great idea - celebrate the failures - it shows how far you've developed further!

I made a decision right at the start of my project not to hide the mistakes!

Love the idea. If I had to print and display all my significant bugs both hardware or software it would take much mure than a small frame. 😉

Shh, don't mention the software bugs!

I imagine e-archaeologists venturing upon this and wondering what strange spongy tech this was that the boards are mounted on, or why it was used like this behind glass. Other thatn that, it is its own kind of aesthetic. I call it the "Board of Improvement".

Let's hope it doesn't become the "Wall of" shame / Improvement

Staying humble makes us better at debugging, I think.

If by humble you mean not trusting anything we've done then yes! ;-)

@@JamesSharmanExtras Exactly - being subconsciously arrogant about a circuit's "perfect design" just slows us down.

Reminds me of Ben Heck's wall of dead boards, but a bit more clean! Even your mistakes look elegant, how's that?
@JamesSharmanExtras2 жыл бұрын
I'm sure I'll upgrade it to a wall sooner or later!

@@JamesSharmanExtras Is this how we get to Star Wars? A house covered floor to ceiling in PCBs sounds like a movie special effect

I haven't got a big enough frame. 😀 😀 😀 Thinking about it my "frame of shame" would be about the size of your CPU and my "good stuff" would about half-fill your frame. 😉
