How can you desecrate this beautiful house by converting the ballroom into a bloody bedroom? If I had a house like that, I'd host elaborate balls at least four times per year, and I'd put that ballroom to good use!

Agreed, that full floor suite is ridiculously large that it would seem uncomfortable to sleep in. I would've kept the ballroom as well. The interior is too gaudy for my taste, but I can appreciate the historic significance. Its nice to see the original wood & plaster work in such great condition, its an amazing mansion.

It may look uncomfortable to you but Pete Schivarelli owner of the Rock Group "Chicago" made the top floor into his bedroom. Schivarelli was involved in the land deal for that house with Frank "The German" Schweihs, a famous "Hitman".

Everything is absolutely stunning here but, personally for me, (if I could ever afford something on this grand a scale) it would be more like living in a Museum then a home... much less a home for children. No, beautiful but only to look at.
