Great! When was this? I’ve seen Frank once. Watching his videos several years. His solo sounded a little different. Very good. Maybe I should listen more. Evidently I haven’t heard enough! Sounded a tad more rock and Spanish the first time. Which I don’t mind one bit.

Not faulting Frank, but it’s “Manha de Carnaval” (Morning of Carnival), the ethereally-gorgeous song Luis Bonfá wrote for the film Black Orpheus. The ‘Real Book’ is to blame for the confusion & misappropriation. Anyway, lovely rendition…
