"Sometimes the hardest thing and the right thing are the same." To me this means putting down a drink. As an alcoholic, it is the hardest thing in the world to not pick up that glass of wine or whatever. But it is the right thing to do, to say no to the drink. This wonderful song has many meanings, but this is my take on it, and listening The Fray- and ALL of their songs- keeps making every day a bit better. Thank you gentlemen for your music! P.S. I recommend you to everyone I meet. Who doesn't love The Fray? So incredibly inspirational!
