A year ago I stumbled on a video of Jamie riding a Honda CB500x. I never rode a motorcycle in my life. At 48 years old, I took a motorcycle course, and bought a Honda CB500X, just like i saw him ride. Got my license. And I’ve had some of the best damn days of my life. This guy never stops inspiring me. Thanks

I've dreamt about riding motorcycles my entire life but always managed to come up with an excuse on not getting one. This wonderfully produced movie summed up everything I want to experience myself. Three months and 10,000 km's later on an '86 Yamaha and my only regret is not doing it sooner. Thank you Jamie and to all who help behind the scenes on each MotoGeo release.

"The man hunched over his motorcycle can focus only on the present instant of his flight; he is caught in a fragment of time cut off from both the past and the future; he is wrenched from the continuity of time . . . in other words, he is in a state of ecstasy; in that state he is unaware of his age, his wife, his children, his worries, and so he has no fear, because the source of fear is in the future, and a person freed of the future has nothing to fear."

Some of the scenes caused a flashback to my ride this spring, 10,000 miles from Mexico through British Columbia, Yukon and Alaska. The best times were the early morning when the air was cool, little traffic, and brilliant morning sun. Peace and freedom.

Steamboat no pics posted...maybe a few on my FB page. The Klodike Highway and Alaska Highway are all paved. No problem. And fuel is available as reasonable intervals. Just don't pass the opportunities by. Really no difficulty at all, and far less traffic than the lower 48.

My story of your inspiration, Jamie, is similar to below. A friend who didn’t realize I didn’t know how to ride when he showed me his hand-customized Yamaha-ish bike, taught me to ride it. I was instantly enthralled by this life-long ambition. Right around the same time (maybe 4 years ago?) I saw your video on. Triumph Bonneville up in the Sierra Nevadas. You have exemplified everything it is for me to live Fun. Took a course, got my license and at 54 bought my Street Cup. Living the life I never had before, thanks to you(and Jeff).

Outstanding and the gift to the orphanage was over the top, bringing freedom to those children. Boyett, Professor of theology.

This is the best thing I have ever seen on KZbin. The camera work is on point in every shot. Love the details especially the shooting out windows and getting those lil extra shots.
