American Conquest - Single Mission - The French Army
This one isn't so hard, even on Impossible Difficulty.
Your Cannons are the key to the initial phase of the attack. They can shoot at targets far beyond their vision range. You just have to find the buildings by clicking around the fog of war. Make sure you have you cannons in control groups to issue attack orders without having to move the camera back at them.
Once the outer Forts and Blockhouses are down, charge your Musketeers in, with your Fusiliers close behind them if the British try to push out. The British Fusiliers will be especially dangerous when allowed to concentrate, so charge your Dragoons in when they do to send them into disarray. Continue to destroy the inner defenses with your Cannons while you keep sending waves of Musketeers to mop up the British and storm the remaining buildings.

This mission represents the battle of Ste-Foy (i.e. the French attempt to recapture Quebec City in 1760) even though it isn't referred to by that name in-game.

Duude, i love this game, used to play it a lot when i was younger. I really wish the LOS on units would be bigger tho, so you could actually see what you're gonna engage with your cannons and whatnot.

Still play this game since 2003. But, I use Divided Nation musket sounds, Mount and Blade Napoleonic Wars cannon sounds, and the multi directional blockhouse mod.

It does for me. I even recorded this with Win10's Game Bar. You may have to fiddle with the compatibility settings, though.

Very good game I played it a lot during my childhood and I found the cd of the game a few days ago and it still work but most of the time the colors are in negative can someone tell me why please?

If i remember correctly, after you start the game you have to ctr+alt+delete and force close explorer.exe it has something to do with the color scheme of the newer windows versions

You actually made me curious so I checked. There seems to be no difference from what I can tell. Starting units and resources appear to be the exact same for both sides on either difficulty.
