I would highly recommend you go at Christmas time. It is absolutely stunning. They have a huge gingerbread house with the list of ingredients it took to complete. The whole place is decked out beautifully inside and out. I just found your video of French Lick Springs Resort at Christmas.

Been going there for 40 yrs... My how it has changed... The Tile work is breathtaking! I wish the dome pool and garden were what was 30 yrs ago.

I lived in French Lick and worked at the hotel. Before that, it was my stomping ground. It's a crying shame that the incredible dome pool (which was retractable!) was demolished just to build a casino. Other than that, both French Lick and West Baden Springs hotels are now more beautiful than I could've ever imagined.

@@AdventureswithRoger Lol, my grandmother worked in kitchen back in 60's & 70's. My daughter worked at the Villas which is up on the hill where the stables used to be when my uncle worked there and my Aunt, cousins & him lived next door in the house that used to be up there

Over two decades ago, my girlfriend dumped me, I was down in the dumps, and my good friend said, “Let’s blow out of the city, and visit French Lick”. It was a great day, and was just what I needed. I have since went back countless times, to get pizza and hang out at this oasis in the country.
