@@GhostCountries I know how it is. When you are a small channel then every subscriber counts and you are just so grateful to them! Btw have you read Robert Darnton's works regarding the french revolution and the context around it?

@@theculturedjinni Exactly, it can feel like an uphill battle sometimes (monthly dips, etc.), but overall we're both optimistic about the channel! Strangely enough, neither of us has read Darnton's work; I was looking it up and he's got a few books on the French Revolution, is there any in particular you'd recommend?

@@GhostCountries "The Great Cat Massacre and Other Episodes in French Cultural History" is a collection that is pretty good and so is "The literary underground of the Old Regime" and he also wrote some good articles that I had to read through during my master studies in I think in The Journal of Legal History however I am not sure about this one, it was a while ago and the french revolution is not my forte so to speak.
