I did that once with the fridge. I rehung the cabinets and added a crown molding to get rid of the dust trap. Also now always keep in mind the minimum clearances from appliances. Fridges need air spaces for cooling.

The greatest takeaway from the tiling is your ability to fix problems as they popped up. Well done and now looks good and functional. The next big job is not so scary to tackle knowing how this one turned out.

OMG - friends of mine had a similar problem…they needed to level all of their floors with flowable concrete and then once the laminate was installed they couldn’t get the fridge in. They ended up taking the top cabinet down and adjusted the bottom by cutting it down so that the top aligned. Unforeseen glitches! But now, you found a solution that works and it’s lovely and bright. Great job! Enjoy! Hopefully no glitches on the next project! Take care.

Well done. But I have been reaserching on the best appliances to buy. And the best place to do that is all the appliance repair shops. The #1 problem they have found is that all the kitchens have those walls on both sides of the refrigerators and that is a no no. They cause them to work overtime and so they don't last as long as they should.

You did a wonderful job! My husband and I did the floor laying and the tiling about 15 years ago. They didn’t have those little wedge things to help tighten the tile. I’m so impressed at how fast you guys work. When we had the very same thing happened with our refrigerator, we started sanding the upper cabinet and turning the doors upside down. Does that make sense? We finally got the refrigerator to go in and just had to do some touch up staining on the cabinets. It happens to everybody. Do you think you measured and measured and measured. I will add your tile at the front door is going to be very very slippery. Put a rug down as soon as you can or somebody’s gonna have a hard fall. Your biggest fan from Oklahoma.

All looks great. Hope you don't have staining of your light grout in the entry. I swear I will never use light grout in high traffic areas. I curse my walk in shower light grout floor. Soon will be ripped up and replaced. Love your show and thanks for sharing.

I am impressed with your tile installation. It looks great. Appliances have become a bit of a nightmare for homeowners when replacement is required. Not only do they no longer last like the older models, but there are now so many different sizes. So, not only do you have to pick the features, brand, look. . . but will it fit the current space / configuration. When we replaced our washer and dryer, we had to remodel the entire laundry room.

We did the exact same thing with our fridge freezer we left the right amount plus 5mm (5/32) then when we went to fit it the mother was on top and it’s 5mm higher than the front so it rubs the bottom of the cupboard each time we remove and refit the fridge it’s bloody annoying because like we fitted the kitchen around the fridge freezerso we could easily of lifted the units to give more room. But we have put up with it for 12 years no and nobody can tell except us so we aren’t bothered anymore. But I must say what a cracking job you have done you should be well proud of yourselves.
