It’s a great song, but when u break it down (coming from a musician), the guitar riff is a few separate notes all based around a power chord, and the drum beat is simply a disco drum beat mixed with emo influences.

The resemblance is almost uncanny if you think about it! haha -Both consist of two guys that everyone who has heard of either band knows about, plus a supporting band with a bunch of people nobody really cares about. -Both are/were signed to Bar/None Records -Both play strange, catchy indie rock songs with humorous and slightly cryptic lyrics. -Both use instruments that aren't used very often with the type of music they play. -Both have excellent fanbases -Both are from the same area (TFB are from New Jersey, TMBG are from Brooklyn)
