I think this is a perfect example of why I sometimes love good EPs. It's just 20 minutes of incredible music, there's no downtime or "that bad song you skip" it's just non stop amazing. Not that The Front Bottoms actually have any bad songs that I would skip.

the rose ep is my favorite collection of songs by tfb, tbh. i love this band so much because idk, the music they make is so genuine and not necessarily perfect, but the lyrics just make so much sense in a nonsensical kind of way. saw them live for the first time earlier this week and it was so fukin amazing xx

They just released a new record. Shameful, Oh Please, and Lilypad are all duets. If you just want to be wowed by her vocals (no duet) I recommend the two tracks off of the single, Cornerstones and How Charming.

I remember in an interview Brian said Mat's friend did the picture of Mat for a card or something, so they asked if they could get one of Brian for the album cover. Since the other albums have similar covers I'm assuming they had the same person do them all.
