I wonder if an actual human being still answers the phone..7 years later. (great informative video thank you).

Great review. FYI, your Ford dealer can change the trucks computer to read the increased capacity. My dealer charged $116. I like the integration and seeing over 1,200 miles on the trucks range.

How does this impact your gas mileage? Test suggestion: I'm assuming you can manually switch between using your on regular truck fuel tank or using the Fuelbox fuel tank. Fill up your regular gas tank. Drive 100 miles for whatever chore you're working on. Fill up your regular tank, note your true mileage (as true as you can get). Fill up the fuelbox 100% full. Drive 100 mile back using fuel from your regular gas tank (not the fuel box). Fill up your regular gas tank when you get home and note your true mileage (as true as you can get). The empty box adds weight. The fuel itself is heavy. The (awesome) supplies in the box add weight. I'm curious about what kind of a hit you get with something like this. It may be pretty slight, which would really make it seem like a more valuable option on trucks!

Well, they are Manufactured at a company by the name of Taylor Wings anyway...........

Hi Don! The Fuelbox is no longer manufactured by Taylor Wings. All Fuelbox products are designed and built in-house in Visalia, CA by Z4 Manufacturing.

BS.......the design was stolen from Taylor Wings...how do I know? I made them with my engineer over 12 years ago!!!!! Every single item they offer is a knockoff. You can call Taylor Wings direct. We will beat their price every time.

Hi Steve, Taylor Wings no longer manufactures The Fuelbox products. It is all manufactured in-house in Visalia, CA Z4 Manufacturing. All Fuelbox products are marine grade aluminum, the fuel tank is .125 thick and the toolbox is .100 thick marine grade aluminum. Fully baffled and true-flange seam weld!

My car can do more than 40 mpg.... I'll never understand why Americans need such big engines in their cars :D Your car is awesome but I'd rather go with a smaller, more economic one.

+LionheartSJZ I regularly tow 6 ton payloads, so I need a truck capable of that.

+SNO Multimedia Then there's no arguing about the need for a big truck :) From my experience though 90% of truck owners never tow more than a regular trailer and hardly ever carry much load at all....

+LionheartSJZ That's true. I just wish we didn't have these government-created oil cartels. We'd have a much greater supply of fuel, and the cost wouldn't be such an issue.

+SNO Multimedia Yep, especially in a situation that could lead to a REAL oil shortage having cars that consume double than what is necessary could be a major disadvantage. I'm currently searching for a Suzuki Jimny in a great condition. I've only got me and 1 other person to think about so with the back seats removed you can fit in all you need and that car can get you literally everywhere.
