Maaaan, MTV used to be so dope back then. They even went to the trenches in Haiti, to cover this legendary moment.

Seeing Haiti being the beautiful country it is filled with beautiful people really makes my heart break even more for the country and the people trying to seek refuge elsewhere. The way they're treated is so disgusting. Long Live Haiti!!🙏🏿

This is so wild for me to see now because this was the year I graduated High School!! I was 17 and Lauryn was 22! I remember falling in love with the Fugees and her during my HS days :) :) So much nostalgia.

7:03 - Just 9 more years, the kids'll be reading. Can't believe 1997 is almost 25 years ago. I was 8 years old, but everything from that year from the music; Hanson - Mmbop, Spice Girls, Robyn, All Saints, BSB & Nysnc debuting, Mariah - Honey, Missy Elliott's debut, Busta Rhymes, Janet Velvet Rope, Puffy & Mase to movies - Men In Black & Flubber, Fashion - Adidas flyaway pants & platform shoes .....it's all so fresh in my memory.

How come MTV (channel) did not aired on TV? Wait, it’s MTV news. Best thing that the Fugees did their Haitian concert in 1997, before I was born in the year 1998. 😀

Pras actually put Fugees together. He is the businessman - his vision is what propelled the group to actually existence. There is more to a group than just singing, writing sings or playing instruments. You need people who can work the dream into reality Pras was the guy..
@LeCumminz4 ай бұрын
Everything u don’t pay attention to. That’s what. Equally as important. Plus added to the songs themselves. Although not the best, he still had dope verses. He was also the smartest with money. Without Pras they prolly woulda been broke asf right now.
