True. He never wanted to be THAT guy who looked back in hindsight and regretted shit. I think this is a sign of a humble upbringing which gave him a strong sense of self and resilience. +EclecticFlavor. Ok here's my theory. Our 20s are the most valuable period in our lives. If you don't pop (not necessarily famous) doing something you love, 9/10 you'll be an regular individual tryna make due for the rest of your life. But if your hustle pays off in whatever you do (professionally or informally) while in your 20s, it changes your thinking. You become more driven and focused because you start building confidence and your skill set from then on. So by the time you are in your 30s, you are coasting, probably already established your own business network and you are therefore more likely to thrive and flourish. I say this because Pras acknowledged it in the interview. These so-called "stars" are not necessarily the best there is out there. Circumstances beyond/within our control influence the trajectory of our hustle in a lifetime. I think I drew most of my emotional instability during my late 20s when I was unsure of where to focus my energy and so my insecurities festered. I had a stable and lucrative job but I resigned to start afresh and find myself because I wasn't HAPPY. Now I feel like I'm 20 but I'm 30. Starting all over again. Daunting but very empowering and liberating. Surprised you recognised him. Most ppl on KZbin refer to "me" (my avi) as a mess. LOL. Peace to J.M.Basquiat. Street Legend. And good luck with you job!
