My ghod, shows in NYC are NOTHING , NOTHING like this, the energy in these shows you uploaded are so raw and authentic. Seeing stuff like this and witnessing what has become of the artform now especially when I go to shows and its nothing but hipsters standing around that are too cool to come to the front, its a DAMN SHAME what they did to our culture. And please don't tell me 'real hip hop still exists you just need to find it' the fact is the organic pure raw energy and love for the art and craft that you see in this video will never be duplicated, and it bothers me very very much.
@nyyyankee10 жыл бұрын
thats because hip hop is something from the past i mean it became mainstream in the late 90's and then it became boring nothing new, it was starting to get annoying(the quality was going down and so on)

what the fuck happened to Lauryn Hill, shes amazing!! she had her solo album, then what happened?
@trinabetts4163 жыл бұрын
The Industry is what happened. Listen to her Mtv Unplugged album. The performance was on KZbin, but was taken down last I checked. I don't know it might have been uploaded again. On that album there is a song called "I Get Out". On there she addressed why. People always talking about how she only made one iconic album. No she made two, but many just didn't like it. That album is intellectual and deep. Some unknowingly only want the superficial and dumbed down. She has a bar she spits on The Fugees The Score album. A track titled "Zealots" where she's says "...and even after all my logic and my theory I add a motherf&$#@% so that you ignorant Niggas hear me..." The Lauryn Hill Unplugged albums is raw, natural, beautiful and spiritual. Cathartic even. She poured it all out on that stage just her and her guitar. It was great. One Love P.S. She referenced the song "I Get Out" on track number 9 titled "Nobody" on Nas's Kings Disease II album. Its dope! Nasty N as and L Boogie back together again on a record! FYI they did a song together titled "If I Ruled The World" a classic! And a unreleased song titled "I Thought It Was You" that should have been released. It was nice. I know I said a lot, perhaps to the point that you hate you asked the question of what happened and got a history lesson you didn't ask for 😉 Peace and Love
