I just bought the XH2 with a kit lens and got the battery holder for free. I think its a great deal. I saved if i had bought these items separately about £800 . quite a saving. I poured my heart out in trying to decide XH2 or XT5 and came to the conclusion that it comes down to the dial. you don't need to take the camera away from your eye to change settings whilst the XT5 takes three steps to do what the XH2 does in one. I got that from Bhoo Ray.

The fujifilm xh2 looks like a great camera with a great body. But I think the xt5 is calling my name😅 I love the retro design, I’m excited about the 40mp sensor because I crop a lot when I shoot so it would be great to a bit more detail. Thanks for the review tongue 👅

I also feel that the 8k video on any camera is hype. But if you have some 8k footage try selling it on stock footage sites!

There's no Prores raw internally, it's prores 422 wich ich different, prores raw aside that is raw is 12 bit and Prores is 10 bit.

Always like your videos. Could you do me a favor? I’d like to know when a crop is applied when shooting video, and I can’t seem to find this info. You mentioned a very slight crop in 4k / 60, but Is there a crop applied at 1080 / 60, 1080 / 120? I’m trying to find out all the cases where the XH2 applies a crop for video. Have a great day!

hi tony just checked. 1080p 60 theres a 1.14x crop 1080p 120 there's a 1.23x crop

Awesome, thanks for the review! Did you end up keeping the xh2s? Whatever happened to that camera? Did you find a noticeable differrence with the autofocus speed and reliability on the xh2s? I'm really digging my xh2s-- but really need a second body for even photography work--- and yeah i'm really leaning towards the x-t5 for a second body. Considering the guts is the same between x-t5 and xh2s im keen to hear about your experience in performance differences between the two for moving portrait work.

The Xh2s is still here LOL.. It filmed this XH2 review. I did noticed the the XH2s has a better hit rate, and is more confidence in itself. After that firmware update 3.0 it’s confident as heck now. I’m quite happy after it. I like the XT5, and would probably get that if I didn’t have the XH2.

@@Iamtongue Thanks bro. In the ideal world i would take the X-T5 with the stacked sensor in a heart beat.. Miss the clickable dials on the XT bodies. I'm enjoying the Xh2s body now--- but yeah it's just not the same haha. I do really enjoy the new joystick on the XH2s though-- much more better redesigned than on the GFX100s/50s II body. Will you be keeping the XH2s/both bodies moving forward? Or will one eventually go after you finish filming all your video/content?

Yes you do need 8k, due to you need post obtions. ++ 2 x digital zoom on 4k hq

can’t decide, but if I lean towards XH2s why not instead invest in A7IV body and a tamron 35-150mm? so many decisions to make 😩

Are you going to use the 35-150 for event/wedding? Lens is pretty heavy but bit better than lugging dual 24-70 + 70-200 setup. X-H2s is newer, has stack sensor and for the dollar more bang for the buck. However, A7IV has some AF features that make life easier such as face memory, real time tracking, touch to track and more etc. Makes events with lots of faces so much easier. Hopefully Fuji implement these after they are done tweaking their new AI subject detection AF.

@@Battlem0nk using it for fashion shoots + editorial. 26 mp on XHS2 or 33mp on the A7IV with great video - sufficient enough for social channels, which would bring into consideration the XH2…

I'm really interested in this camera and I'm likely to pick one up or the xt-5. My focus would be studio. But I must say your Sony stuff how more of wow factor to me. You are taking great images with both however imo.

Great video young man! If today 2023 some kid (or old person) thinks a camera has a bad AF, then that person whoever might be sucks beyond belief! I don’t care who is, go back to 1974 and then come back! Learn and stop crying for G sakes! It’s shameful how lazy people have become! So la y that they can even think to solve inconveniences or shortcomings! So yes, today no camera has a bad AF, only horrible dumb photographers behind their cameras!
