I understand, I stay away from them once they are set. Pop them from a distance.

Does Maverick ever send trucks into Canada? I don't think that I ever seen one up here.
@DaleLClay9 жыл бұрын
Yes, I think it's just glass and the specialized division .
@DaleLClay9 жыл бұрын
I believe so, but I don't recall how much.
@rescuepanther9 жыл бұрын
+Edward Hamilton It's $40 to take a load into Canada which is easy money because the broker usually does all the paperwork for you. Maverick doesn't pay extra to bring a load back into the US.

which do you prefer, shot gun or eyes sideways, i like the later bc you can throw a strap threw the center to tie the coil down for up and down motion, then throw on your chains after that
@DaleLClay9 жыл бұрын
I like shotgun, because Guns are awesome. Also, I don't like the term suicide coil. I think the eye to the side is faster to secure, but I feel safer with the eye to the front.

Yes, but sometimes it's based on how the cosignee is able to unload the product.

What was the weight of that coil
@DaleLClay9 жыл бұрын
My guess since I am not looking at the video, between 40,000 and 45,000 thousand pounds.

no trip chain?
@DaleLClay9 жыл бұрын
Battery ran out on the camera, as it did catch me almost forgetting the straps over the top. Just not enough juice in the camera to show me pulling all the tarps off to put the coil block and chain. I hate having to move the truck part way through securment, it always throws my game off.

Why did you have to tarp this load, All the coils sit outside in the rain,and on muddy gravel.
@DaleLClay9 жыл бұрын
This one has been through their oil processing. Plus they paid to have it tarped. It's funny though, some places pull them off and stick them in the mud. It seems strange sometimes, and other times they are hyper crytical that the coil is tarped, and only untapped under covered protection.

8 ft drop or 6ft tarp?
@DaleLClay9 жыл бұрын
Steel, which are 6 ft drop I believe. My lumber tarps are 8 ft.
