Mcdoubles back again with a brand new video and today we finally come back to World of Warcraft to try Classic WoW's Season of Discovery PHASE 2! We jump back on our Warlock from Phase 1, continue where we left off, level to 40, and try as much of the new content as we can in the process. I also give my perspective on the new phase as it has progressed so far!

Only reason i would play this shit more is if they actually did new things like trutle wow, like add a goblin village or something new, this is just classic again with abilities from wotlk, just repeating same shit and we still pay for it 😂

If you want to have fun in PvP. Make Ambush rogue, Melee hunter (beastmaster spec) or Nightelf ambush aimshot MM hunter. And 2 other good choses are Arcane/frost mage and Balance druid.

If you play something else, my Recommendation is hunter. Get the Melee Spec and Dual Wield spec runes, they're absolutely insane. At lv 33 I'm fighting lv 40s like I'm lv 40 in the open world. Edit: TLDR, My main hand is gritting for about 300-400 Raptor strikes, my off-hand usually crits for about 200, and my auto attacks hit for about 250-300 both weapons together on a crit. Melee hunter is a blast.

With the 50% increased xp you get from 1-25 making a new character feels better IMO, since you spend less time until you get somewhat of a decent toolkit. So might be fun for you to reroll if you really dislike lock so much

@@Mcdoubles The RNG of wildcard coupled with a very poor pve balancing team and Tatertotz (as the single PVP dev) moving away for personal reasons has left Elune in a very bad state, ultimately leading to tons of people quitting. Difficult content is not rewarding, instead easy content like manastorm 1-50 raids are more rewarding in terms of reroll scrolls than pretty much any other option. To me it seems like people are very much fed up with random builds and want deterministic builds & classes, which CoA could solve. Ascension discord is full of suggestions and pleas for more dev communitcation on the topics that actually matter, like build creation, reroll scroll farming and balancing concerns, yet the players are pretty much getting ignored there. Chapter 2 has to deliver big time, it has to absolutely smash people out the waters, or its not gonna be enough to save this season.

@@Mcdoubles What you need is melee or caster that have powerful instant spells. SoD is not vanilla anymore and casting something for more than 1.5 sec is just pointless in pvp since all melee classes can now break the cc easily and close the gap or have ranged skills.

i stoped playing SoD because i found it boring. some of the runes were fun to get, but then others were a chore. i felt like they should have gone harder on the V+ side of things but maybe they are to scared to, idk. the blood moon thing and raid look fun, but not sure thats going to get me back though. kinda dont have time for things that wont be fun the whole time. good to see your videos again tho missed you Mcdoubles!

Not having as much fun as phase 1 personally. STV has been a mess, even more so than Ashenvale at the start of phase 1, and that's really the only thing that was going to keep me on besides raiding. Not interested in the pre-made bg grind. I'll just be raid logging until the lag and layering issues are fixed in STV.

people care about their "time" so much they gear check everything and a lot of people can have a hard time finding groups its pretty annoying, esp when doing sm if everyone running spell cleave at that moment in time theyre only looking for clothies or heal and melee dps get left out

McDoubles I think your problems with raid groups would be solved if you took the time to form a “guild” group or a group that you consistently play with every week! Pugs farm more hate than any consistent group with friends do!

I hate that I like druid shapeshifting/nature magic like archetypes. They legit did not get a single new thing, its all retail bullshit. If i wanted to play retail druid id go play retail with all the QoL. They got wildstrikes sure but its basically windfury totem. Its passive so I dont have to weave it into my rotation or anything making it boring. Not to mention thats only for feral. I got to about 35 then quit playing, welp back to ascension lol
