Best Buu is Super Buu, the one without a nose, I love that guy for what he did to Earth, only guy to ever actually go ahead and do it too. But my Favourite Buu is Grey thin Buu or "condensed evil buu" after Fat buu got rid of his evil side. I honestly think Toriyama missed a beat by not going for that version

My personal favorite is Kid Buu because he is a fun loving psychopath who has good fights. I personally don't like Toriyama's retcon that Buu existed since time immemorial because it contradicts the whole idea of Bibidi creating Buu and sealing Buu.

Kid Buu. I quite honestly wish that is what would've come out from "Fat Buu" from then on. He was brutal, insane, acted far more feral, and was nothing short of a total monster. I also preferred the small build, and the hand design that looks less human too. I wish Mystic Gohan had also been the one to put him down.

Goku says he could easily destroyed Buu but he did what Goku does and drew the fight out because he wanted to fight Buu at his strongest before passing the puck and allowing Gohan to beat him so his son could grow as a fighter. Once Goku realizes the power of Buu he admits he could and should have destroyed him earlier but no longer has the time it would take to accomplish the task.

I had a discussion with people on facebook a while back on what Buu was. My idea is that he is an opposite equivalent to the North, South, East, West Kai's as a lower tier destroyer as Beerus is a High Tier Destroyer opposite of the Supreme Kai's being creators. Where Beerus and the Supreme Kai's balance each other out in their roles of creation and destruction of the universe population. The compass kais and Buu would be more localised, in being creative and destructive on more localised levels like Planetary and Galaxy.

With reincarnation being real in the Dragon Ball universe, one scenario or saga concept I always thought would be fascinating to see is what if the Saiyan Race had been cleansed following their destruction and was reborn on Earth as humans? Than you see the Z Fighters having to find, recruit, and train (or occasionally possibly even fight) this new generation of warriors. Sure, it'd be interesting to see the Saiyans just resurrected as well, but it's a thought.
