Not the firecracker Hayley was writers did that for more drama and plot which got more fans and fan division which created more PR which makes more money. Reason being it was out of Elijahs noble character to go after Klaus lover and child INTENTINALLY knowing how much Klaus loved them and would be hurt. So they made them work simple as that but if Hayley had meet Klaus before he became the monster he was they would have been together till the end period. Klaus was just damaged and angry and thats what made it hard for them to be together but as he started to go back to the good Klaus they got better together

I absolutely adored Cami and Klaus, their bond was deep and meaningful. Klaus and Hayley were perfect for one another, they could have become a power couple and take back New Orleans after Cami and Jackson died, but it was Caroline who got the last kiss (as the actress was a series regular on TVD), the least deserving one. I hate the writers for building up these relationships and killing off characters. Don't even get me started on the ending of The Originals.

Pretty much did it for viwes which got more money and entertainment fine it cause more drama and complications in the family. I agree Klaus was good with Cami but I feel his one real love was Hayley but because of how messed up he was he ruined that for a bit and instead of fixing it and having them together they somewhat fixed it but put her with Elijah which made Elijah extremely unnoble since he intentionally did it knowing how his brother felt but didn't care so to me Elijah and Hayley never made sense and was to make things more interesting instead of the very good but cliche man changes and makes his family whole again plot

I don't ship them as a couple, however this video is a fantastic representation of their relationship dynamic and how you can grow and learn from people. I personally preferred Camille over any of the women Klaus was involved with, and while I believe he did love Hayley, it wasn't in the same way Elijah did.

Cami might be Klaus's true love and Elijah might be Hayley's true love but Klaus and Hayley were meant to be they were alot alike they had gone through the same shit and pain and Elijah did loved her but Klaus was the only one who was always there for her when she was in trouble instead of Elijah The way Klaus cared for Hayley i don't think Elijah ever did Klaus and Hayley had arguments fights etc etc but still their bond was unbreakable the bond they had Klamille and Haylijah never had neither Klaroline It was Hayley that gave him the biggest happiness of his life"Hope" and that was the best thing happened to him they were not in a romantic relationship they didn't share a romantic triangle still they had so much chemistry and potential and their the relationship between them was something different that a romantic love cannot explain

I read a lot of comments and I’m happy to see that there’s a big fandom of Klayley who share my thoughts this ship. I’m sad too that they didn’t end up together. But what make’s me even sadder is the fact that in Legacies, the writers insisted on Klaroline to the point of denigrating Hayley's character. Just the scene where Hope is given Caroline's dress by Klaus in TVD displeased me. I thought they were trying to give Caroline the image of Hope's mother, to highlight this alchemy between Klaus and her that was shallow for me in TVD, while her real mother is Hayley. but she was totally sidelined to favor Caroline. I would have preferred to see Caroline and Klaus develop a friendship or at most a brotherly relationship. Their alchemy brought nothing, Klaus was hateful to her on top of that, very insistent, and it broke up one of the most successful and interesting couples of TVD, namely Caroline and Tyler. All this drama for Klaus to leave at the end of season 4, without having brought anything to Caroline. This sort of romance between them didn't lead to anything, it was disappointing to see it take precedence over Tyler and Caroline and ultimately amount to nothing at all.

Till this day I am so disappointed that they didn’t end together they had more chemistry and felt like soulmates, if Cami wasn’t there they should have been endgame the perfect couple in the universe of TVD/TO but I am happy at least I got Klaus and Cami they also felt like soulmates for me because the only people that are perfect for Klaus and had chemistry with him are Hayley and Cami no other woman had chemistry with him and about Elijah and Hayley it felt forced and I liked them only in season 1 after that I felt like I am being forced to like their relationships when their chemistry wasn’t that strong while Jackson and Hayley felt even more forced and it was kind of creepy when he kept on saying she was supposed to be his wife or whatever I was actually happy when he died which is sad because I liked his character but after marrying Hayley their scenes were so cringe and they kept their relationship for too long it annoyed me like 2 season I kept saying end this relationship I am sick and tired of it.
