I loved this! More videos like this please! Currently rereading all the Batman Omnibuses I own. I'm reading them in this order: Batman By Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale, Batman Knightfall Vol 1,2 and 3, Batman Road to No Man's Land, Batman No Man's Land vol 1 and 2 (vol 2 I bought directly from Chuck Dixon btw 😉), Batman by Grant Morrison Vol 1-3, Batman by Paul Dini, Batman New 52 vol 1 and 2 (waiting on the reprints of the Eternal books later this year) Batman and Robin New 52.

Wonderful job on this video, Batcave. It really had a lot of great information on the New 52 Batman series of comics. Personally, I thought this set of New 52 titles was well written and well received by fans, just because it brought us some great characters, like The Court of Owls and the wonderful revisioned version of Batman's origin. New 52 Batman is as good as it gets. Snyder and Capullo really redefined Batman. Court of Owls would be such a good movie... IN THE RIGHT HANDS

Thank you for this video 🙏🏼 I stopped reading comics back in 2005 and have missed a lot since then. I’ve always wanted to get back into comics, especially Batman comics, but never knew where to start. Now I know I can start with Batman 52 and it won’t feel like I’m decades behind🤘🏼

If there is just one thing I can take away from the new 52 universe that DC has produced I will have to say that Batman was the strongest out of the rest. That's not to say that the others didn't have good storytelling but when you have someone like Scott Snyder doing the storytelling for The Dark Knight he really brought his A-game for this. My second favorite new 52 storyline was Wonder Woman how they change the Amazon princess into a demigoddess and the daughter of Zeus in the process for her and my third would definitely be Superman as a brand new take on the Man of Steel, plus I always loved the relationship between the mighty Amazon demigoddess and the Man of Steel during this time.

I honestly think that true conclusion of Batman comic series is Batman Endgame. Nothing good ever came out of Rebirth run.

The New 52 was the WORST thing to EVER to happen to DC comics. 100% PURE CRAP. The sales figures prove it along with "Rebirth". Rather than doing a different universe, these idiots wrecked the one it took decades to build. I quit reading after a few issues of New 52 and never looked back as now it's one big jumbled cluster F***. As far as I'm concerned, MY DC comic universe died at the New 52 launch.
