Yes and No Yes they turned him into a ball of light but the reason he doesn't have a human form is because when spd was shooting deka ranger was still going on, so there really wasn't time

Is Sam the most extreme example of 'sixth ranger syndrome'? His abilities should mean he's always leagues above the other SPD rangers in terms of power but he's practically discarded as soon as SWAT mode is introduced, even getting captured alongside Cruger (who lacks any additional ranger powers outside of 'cool sword')

@@moseskuria1234 Depends on what he actually gains from being an alien. Compared to other '7th' or mentor rangers (e.g. RJ, Udonna, DT Tommy), Cruger is lacking in special abilities beyond the physical enhancements that come with the ranger suit.

Shadow could have less obvious abilities over the others. He's obviously the most skilled. But he could be physically stronger or faster than most too. I think they did too much with Sam and his abilities in his first ranger appearance to make him look cool before basically making him useless. They shouldn't have opened up so strong if they were just gonna throw the character away.

SPD was my favourite season growing up, but even as a kid I wasn't on board with how they handled the Omega Ranger, even if the suit remains one of my favourites (that colour scheme just works so well. White sixth rangers are some of the best looking in general). Having a well characterised human form is a big part of what makes a ranger memorable and engaging. It shakes up the team dynamic having a new face in the mix. Not having that with Omega just made the character feel like kind of a dud.

It’s sucks they couldn’t use Sam’s actor for his human form more often. I love the Omega Ranger suit. I just hate that was mostly all we saw of Sam.

I'm happy there are content creators like Nerdbot who specialises on Sam the Omega Ranger and giving much more character than he had in the show. The fan film projects shows he has been working with Sky's Dad and TJ's son as the Time Bros. You should collaborate with them and join their content but you mentioned you wanted to work with Unworthy Productions, I think they are currently collaborating too, you should join them!

Sam was definitely underused and kinda nerfed after his debut as a ranger. You would think a ranger from the future like Sam would be way ahead of B-Squad rangers and Cruger, given that Sam has access to ranger technology that the other spd rangers aren't familiar with, the extra modes in Sam's Morpher was hardly used and could of been handy in multiple situations. Also I find it a shame that Nova ranger made her debut in the final episode. Because I would have been interested to see if her tech was either the same as Sam's or if she got different tech that Sam didn't kind of like a set a or set b kinda thing

In Dekaranger his morpher even had a flamethrower mode and create hurricane level gusts of wind. They really weakened him in SPD.

Sams under utilisation comes down to the producers not wanting to pay someone to be on screen unmorphed, so that’s why he’s always morphed, according to the actors tho this made it difficult to perform with someone who wasn’t really there as the voice was dubbed in post

The Dekabreak suit is my favorite suit design in all of Sentai/Ranger. And ever since Super Legends, Omega has always been my favorite ranger full stop. I immediately snatched the Lightning collection figure when it came out. But despite having a starring role in a game, I still kinda feel like Omega is super underrated.

I remember getting the old Omega ranger action figure that came with the Omegamax Cycle for Christmas one year. It was the only toy I got that year but it was pretty damn cool. Might want to pick up the newer Lightning Series version of the Omega ranger, just for the memories lol

6th Ranger, this was a wonderful video on the S.P.D. Omega Ranger. I am really glad that you are continuing the video series on each sixth Power Ranger on this channel and this one was really entertaining. I do agree with you that Sam is very powerful and under used, maybe that is why he is one of my favorite rangers from the S.P.D. series. Not only that he had one of the coolest Morphers ever. Anyways, thanks again for this video and hopefully with the popularity of Boom! The triassic ranger, I know it's Connor but with the Shield he literally gets a new power suit, badass megazord a battlizer and his on dimension. He's one of the most broken rangers ever and I consider the triassic ranger the 6th of that season. 5. Merrick the lunar wolf ranger is a badass with a amazing story

Good video. I did like the SPD Omega Ranger for his Morpher, Outfit, and Zord. However, I feel like he should've had more moments in his unmorphed form rather than being a tiny ball of light just so that we could see the non Ranger part of his character arc. And I also would have like to see a morphing scene of him becoming the Omega Ranger where that tiny ball slowly transforms into the shape of a grown male human body and then the Ranger suit appears. Well I don't know about you, but what do you think?

Mighty Morphing Power Rangers suggestion video The Third episode of Mighty Morphing there where 2 premiers : The Megzord was too weak to handle a giant Minitaur but also presenting for the very first time , the weapon of the rangers and the Power Crossbow . Jungle Fury made a similar attempt to take it slow but 2 of them where studying kung fu and even Casey got the hang on pretty quick . But take any other season , they get their weapons even Dino Thunder , Lost Galaxy have their morphers already a weapon . Should they demorph they can still defend themselves using the Quasar sabers The question and this is so good i heard no one talking , what exactly is the power source for Mighty Morphing Rangers weapons being so strong to emit a fire beam but being constructed so primitive as a crossbow fire ? Tommy never combined his Dragonzord weapon to destroy a monster . At least with the power cannon Alpha did get them some ammo to be inserted

Edit: My top 5 favorite 6th rangers, in no particular order: Trent Mercer/Hernandez/Fernandez (White Dino Thunder); Tommy Oliver, as both Green Ranger and White Ranger; Daggeron, Mystic Force Solaris Knight; Sam (Omega Ranger) and Anubis Cruger (SPD Shadow) share my top spot, for similar reasons (Both had mysteriousness about them, and were developed as characters, not just as Rangers).
