It’s crazy how Tommy can be so different from his channel to an interview. He is so naturally funny! You can tell he works really hard for everything he has, even though he may not seem like it on his own channel. I really enjoy watching these types of videos with him because it gives you a glimpse of what he is like off camera, and reminds you that he is a person, and not a character.

I can attest to Tommy's passion for acting. One of the funniest Videos in his archive was from the time when Wilber was feeding Tommy and Jack Minifold different scenarios where they had to do improv. Tommy had to play a Karen who was complaining about her pizza order. Find that video if you haven't seen it because it's comedy gold! 🤣😂🤣

PLEASE keep doing chats about KZbin and how some KZbinrs look at the algorithm & such. As a small creator, these videos give me tons of insight that I simply cannot get right now! If I could call up a huge KZbinr and get their input on how my videos could be improved, I would. But I simply don't have those connections as of right now. Thanks for another amazing interview Colin & Samir :)

Tommy’s dad having to teach him about taxes is so relatable and hilarious
@christophsiebert1213
@christophsiebert1213 2 жыл бұрын
Pretty sad that it's not taught in school. It sounds like, at the time his dad asked if he did taxes or invoices, he was already pretty far into high school. Wouldn't you want kids to teach basic taxes with relatable examples? By now, the most relatable example to teach taxes on IS creating content on KZbin, Twitch, TikTok. Teach them what could go on there, how you pay people with invoices and how that plays into taxes and why. This would make so much sense nowadays.

It’s so easy to see him as a stupid loud kid who got lucky, but he really is very thoughtful about what he does. I wish a lot of people didn’t just associate him just with the SMP and the intense hatred many have for it. His intro of “most people find me annoying at first” is really true, but if u just take a little bit of time he has really good content and cares a lot. Passionate people, literally no matter what it is about, are so interesting and amazing to watch.

When I first saw one of Tommy's videos a little over two years ago, I was laughing and smiling. This bold loud teenager perked my interest. I questioned and admired such an upfront and courageous person my age who was unafraid to expereince something new despite the uncertainties and simply live life. And I continued to watch his content. I still do. I love the laughs and chaos of the persona TommyInnit and it's facinating to hear about the person behind the persona, Tom.

Tommy is one of the creators that is truly at the right place. I think his playfulness and seemingly effortless creativity is what makes his content so captivating. Whatever he puts out doesn't feel forced, it is like a constant flow-state that he shares with his audience. In all the Interviews you see how mesmerized people are while talking to him, I think thats the power of experiencing someone who is following their passion without constraints.

Listening to Tommy talk about KZbin and Twitch is so fascinating, he knows so much and he's very passionate about it as well. Him taking advice from the big Algorithm Knowers like Dream and Mr Beast and converting that knowledge to his own content in his style is very impressive, he doesn't jump on other people's trends a lot, he makes his own (the mod videos), and when he does he makes it his own - like the 100 player challenges. His goal being to make people laugh is very sweet :)

as much as i loved the mr beast interviews, this HAS to be my favourite. I love of course the surface level interviews of content and final product, but this pairing where you guys can get into ALL of the meta and managerial behind the scenes is brilliant, and so so interesting. sometimes interviewers take too much of a backseat or talk too much in long form content, but time and time again, and so clearly in this video; Colin and Sameer are BRILLIANT interviewers. awesome video lads!

Tommy feels like this decades version of a child star, but the kind that in 10 years you forget that this is how he made his start because he's gone from strength to strength and is known for much bigger and better things. A lot of people forget that Seth Rogen started with freaks and geeks, because he is so much bigger than that now and I feel Tommy could have that kind of path, but an internet centric version

Im sure that Tom is such a nice person off camera as most things that people he's collaberated with have said have always been positive like Memeulous said he was such a nice guy when Tom visited his apartment. This video is the final push I needed to start writing the script for my first video, while I don't enjoy much of his humor I do respect his mindset and find some sort of motivation out of it, video won't be on this account, I won't mention the name here, but if I ever make it big this video will be one of the reasons why.

Interesting interview! Mr Beast's content is targeted towards children so it makes since that many people don't like it or think it's too fast paced and over the top. Looking forward to more interviews in the future! -Steven

a channel where he was just tom would def be interesting. no doubt it’d be successful too, he just has a certain way of keeping retention no matter what part of his personality he’s playing up, i was not bored for a second listening to this

I really like this, I think it's super interesting to see how he thinks and the way he does what he does. I'm going to take away the "why" tommy mentioned, why am I posting this, why will I do this. I'm in the super early stages of youtube, so I think it's essential building a community (early on) around something you ACTUALLY want to do, instead of doing it because you do it.

It’s always so nice to see more of Tom instead of Tommy, Colin and Samir both did a great interview. You can tell in impaulsive that a lot of questions are forced and it gets a bit awkward,, but you guys really made this episode comfortable and easygoing!

Man I love subtitles. My brain moves extremely fast, and with custom subtitles from the creator for whatever reason I feel like things are less chaotic for me. That is definitely something that I appreciated from Fitz, Carson, and raccoon eggs. I feel like every main stream KZbinr should get on the subtitle game.

One of my favourite parts is when tommy was so excited that they listened so carefully to him nerd out about Google forms and stuff like that, it was honestly very wholesome :)

Sorry to be this person, the interview was GREAT! Just a tiny correction/note for the editor. The clip you used at 00:23 comparing Tommy's popularity/audience size to BTS. That clip is not BTS, that's a clip of Psy (of Gangnam Style fame) performing at a large South Korean college festival earlier this year. I know in context the clip was more meant to show the crowd size than it was about who is on stage, but there's plenty of footage of BTS playing Wembley Stadium, SoFi Stadium, and Seoul Olympic Stadium (among other stadiums) that could have been used there that both would have driven the large crowd size point home even better than the Psy clip, while also showing the correct persons Colin and Samir was referring to in the voice over.
