@@BeaDSM Yea, it only costs 10 iron 5 water. Thats not a lot compared to never having to A: Never having to spend water to over charge again and B: never having to run back to base to overcharge when it wears off.

The tree is very useful. In my experience, 3 iron nodes are more than enough for the tree to grow on because it grows up to 3 iron fruit at a time. Those 3 irons produced by the grown tree replenish after every wave. Essential for long runs. Very disappointed you didn't even let it grow when you didn't even have an iron issue in the first place lol.

So I commented on a few of your previous videos that you were underestimating Drillbert, but then I actually did a proper run really relying on the teleporter and...yeah. It's pretty amazing, especially when combined with an orchard. No delay in getting the fruit and you can just drill so much.

Finally someone on KZbin who realizes carrying capacity at the start is huge. 2 of my first 4 upgrades are usually that, drill, then stronger weapon. 2 stages on carrying capacity at first unless I start with lift.

The Repellent unlock that adds whither is insane. It basically lets you hold back a few rounds of upgrading laser damage. You start melting enemies so much sooner. The effects don't last long to start but it ramps fast.

now to have the map so absolutely massive that you actually can get all the relics in one run as it gives you an extra floor to cope with how excessive the map is, plus a second tree and mushroom alcove, with the ability to put in shield and repellant, a 2 player mode where the waves don't fully go away because of how excessive the map is designed... a literal planetary body...

All the gadget special abilities (shock shield, reflect, brambles, debilitate) only work if you already purchased them BEFORE the fight phase starts. That's why a bunch of times, you've bought some gadget for the first time after the enemies are already rushing you, and it's not worked.

the three tile strategy is actually great even for finding cobalt an water. You just need to check every three tiles (either up or down) and every resource will be revealed.

It makes sense that the teleporter is better than the lift, the way the lift works it just gets worse and worse the deeper you go. It'd be one thing if resources just took longer to get to the top, but because there's a limited number of orbs it can't start bringing up new resources until a batch reaches the end. Unless you keep buying upgrades for it it'll just keep getting slower and falling behind

I feel like this really was the best case scenario for the mineral tree and it still was nowhere near worth it. An iron deposit that big is probably worth ten or more iron. The tree might eventually give you that back, but ten iron is so much more valuable early on where you're wanting to upgrade your drill speed or carry capacity ASAP. Combined with the loss of efficiency as you have to go out of your way to check its progress, I think the tree is just bad at the moment. They should probably shorten the growth time to a single cycle before it starts producing, or make it so that larger deposits start producing more quickly. It's definitely a neat idea and I'd like to see tree builds become a thing - perhaps trees could produce additional seeds so you can start an iron farm!

No, it's because Iron on a map this size is always at least 2x2 (so the theory goes). So you either see it on the top row or the bottom
